I've used about 6 bottles of this. At first, I thought, 'It's just water, what's the big deal?' But I definitely felt my face calming down. I have super sensitive skin that quickly breaks out and turns red when I use incompatible products, but after using this, those issues noticeably disappeared. It's like applying a soothing tonic for your skin. I once switched to Avène and suddenly got red bumps. I thought, 'Huh? They're both thermal spring waters, how different could they be?' and kept using it, only to regret it. Even though they're both thermal waters, they were different! Only after returning to this did my skin calm down. This suits my skin much better than Avène.
I took off one star because of the price. Even with buy-one-get-one-free deals, I think it's too expensive for what's essentially water. If you have extremely dry skin, you might want to use an additional toner for hydration. Since it's water-based, it can leave your skin feeling dry after it absorbs.
Since this doesn't contain moisturizing ingredients, your skin can feel dry once it's absorbed or evaporated. Apply a hydrating cream quickly before it starts feeling dry. It's also good to spray this right after cleansing to soothe your skin, then follow with another toner. Remember, this is meant for skincare, not for use over makeup - spraying it over your makeup would be a disaster!
