The curl does tend to drop a bit, but if you let it dry and then gently lift your lashes with your fingers, it looks much better! There's a bit of an adjustment period when you first start using it, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons!
My routine is to apply face makeup, then the white tube, do the rest of my makeup, and finally apply the black mascara. I've noticed that if the white base isn't completely dry when you apply the black mascara, the colors can mix sometimes!
