I'm satisfied with the product performance itself, but for some reason, my face gets a bit flushed a few seconds after applying it. It feels a bit cooling and soothing, but then it goes back to normal after a while. For those who are very sensitive to alcohol, be cautious, and I don't recommend the Aesoi toners either - the Aesoi toners have a strong alcohol feel, and they can sometimes sting a bit ㅜ This cream just gets flushed, but doesn't sting! In the summer, I become combination-type, and after applying it or waking up, there's an oily sheen on the T-zone or sometimes the whole face, but it's not to the point of being unsightly. However, for those with very oily, combination skin, it's best to avoid this in the summer. For those with dry or normal-combination skin, be sure to use just a tiny amount, like the size of a pinky nail. As long as you control the amount, it's not a big issue! ㅎㅎ In the summer, you can just use a matte makeup product. ㅎㅎ Except for winter, you don't really need additional moisturizing products, and it works well with matte makeup, unless you have extremely flaky skin. For dry skin types, in the winter, you may be tempted to apply a lot, but use a similar amount as your regular moisturizer. Right after applying, there's a slight matte feel, but within 2-3 hours, the skin regains a natural oil balance. In my experience, in the winter, there's an initial matte feel, like applying a matte foundation or cushion, but over time, the skin's moisture and oil levels get replenished naturally. If you find it's still drying over time, try using a few layers of toner or switching up your serum and lotion! The Aesoi Takwol Lotion is also nice, but the oil content is a bit high, so controlling the amount is key!

This product doesn't really have issues with flakiness or slipping, but on days when I used a lot of the blemish serum from the same line, there was a bit of slipping. So for those with combination skin throughout the seasons or oily skin types, you may experience some slipping when using the serum, so be sure to pat it in until fully absorbed! I do that on my really flaky days with this product too. The thick texture makes it a bit tricky to apply smoothly, so gently patting it all over helps. And the alcohol in the formula gives a cooling, soothing sensation as it gets absorbed faster. And as mentioned earlier, this contains brightening ingredients, so patting it in to absorb it well will enhance the blemish-improving effects!

The scent is pleasant, and the texture is smooth and moisturizing. After applying it, when I wash my face the next day and touch my skin, I can feel that it has improved. While they claim it's good for brightening and blemish reduction, I honestly didn't notice those effects. But the skin texture has improved a little, which is about the same as other skincare products I've used.
