Even after trying other highly recommended oils, I always find myself coming back to this one. Recently, with all the masks, scarves, and gloves I've been wearing, my skin's been super dry, so I pulled this oil out again. German body products really seem to be top-notch. It's non-irritating, has a subtle pleasant scent, and above all, it absorbs beautifully into the skin. I had no idea this product was discontinued. While the oil absorbs well into the hands, a pump dispenser would be more convenient to use. The ingredients list is a bit underwhelming compared to what I expected. You can use it on its own, but it's also great mixed with a hydrating emulsion for application.

While oils are usually heavy, this one is light and refreshing. When first applying, it feels a bit sticky and like it's sitting on top, but it absorbs quickly and provides a thin, protective layer of moisture. However, if you apply too much, it can feel oily, so I recommend using just a few drops. It can be mixed with creams and used after applying other cosmetics - gently patting it onto the face works well. The lightweight formula means it's best used in combination with a cream or lotion. After using the oil, the opening is always messy with oil, and even after wiping my mouth, there's still oil in the crevices, which makes me a bit uneasy that it might cause deformation.
