This is my holy grail foundation. It's lightweight and has great staying power. I find it suits me better than All-Hour. It doesn't cake up as much on my skin. The applicator design makes it a bit tricky to get the last bits out when you're running low. - ol********Combination SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2021
I just wrote a review for Missha's Cho Bo Yang, and let me tell you... I always use this on date nights! It's perfect for those important days, when you need your makeup to last, or when you don't have time for touch-ups. When you need to survive under the sun's rays, Or when you want that porcelain skin look... While Cho Bo Yang feels like an everyday product, this one's for those special occasions. I'm on my second bottle and have another stashed away. By the way, it doesn't seem to be available in stores. It might be a bit drying for those with dry skin - my friend with dry skin says it doesn't suit her. The color is absolutely gorgeous too. It truly gives you that porcelain skin finish! Please sell it in stores too... I'm afraid it might be discontinued! One layer gives a slightly translucent effect, but two layers create that perfect porcelain skin finish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2021
I use shade 22 with a deep undertone, specifically the B10 Ivory color. I'm quite satisfied with it, but it seems to be a product that divides opinions! ▪️Color •I love that the foundation comes in different shades for warm and cool undertones. •I have a warm undertone and use B10 Ivory, which gives me a slightly brighter complexion than usual. •It's a beautiful ivory shade that's warm without being too yellow! •The coverage is quite good. It does a great job concealing blemishes. ▪️Texture •It's a liquid foundation that applies thinly. •The formula has no stickiness and flows lightly like water. •There is some transfer onto masks. On days I use this product, I always use a setting spray to minimize transfer. •It sets quickly, so I recommend spreading it swiftly. •Apply it to your cheeks with the applicator, then blend with a sponge for a silky smooth finish! •Overall, it has a matte finish with a subtle glow, giving your skin a luxurious look. •If you dampen your sponge before application, it creates an even more hydrated, glowy effect. I deducted one star because it does darken a bit over time, which is disappointing. - he*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2020
This stick is truly amazing! It spreads thinly and I love it. The formula is hydrating and lightweight, yet it sets to a soft, matte finish. It applies so thinly, just like your own skin, and gives a beautiful complexion. The downside? It's so thin that the makeup doesn't last long. Being lightweight means the coverage isn't exceptionally high. I mix this product in a darker shade with Hanyul's 21 shade to match my skin tone. The color looks incredibly natural, and it even boosts the coverage. I'm really happy with the result. - sm*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesMay 21, 2020
Goes on clear and transparent. The texture is incredibly lightweight. I was shocked when I first applied it - it's so thin and light, like you're not wearing anything at all. Only those who've tried it will understand! It creates a silky, powder-soft finish that looks just like my own skin. A little goes a long way, spreading easily. It gives you that beautiful 'your skin but better' look. Despite being so thin, the coverage isn't bad at all. If you apply a good essence first to prevent deep dryness, it's great for hot summer days. While Yves Saint Laurent is lovely, it just doesn't work for me, sadly. This one has a nice color, but I think it's causing blemishes. My forehead is getting bumpy... The brush-like cap is inconvenient. It sets quickly, probably due to the alcohol content. It's drying, even with a moisturizing base. Later, it starts to pill and lose adherence... It's really only suitable for peak summer. It causes blemishes, but I hate to waste it, so I use it occasionally... Using it for consecutive days leads to dermatitis symptoms, starting on my forehead then spreading to fine bumps around my mouth... While the thin application is nice, it emphasizes dead skin cells around my nose, even though I don't usually have issues there. Overall, I prefer cushions for their hydration and better coverage. - ks*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 8, 2020
I have dry skin and use shade 22. I bought the BR30 shade since it was the only one available due to discontinuation. It's a bit dark to use alone, but it works well when mixed with a lighter shade. The coverage isn't great, so I recommend mixing it with other products. It applies incredibly lightly. Though my skin isn't perfect, this foundation gives me a smooth complexion that I absolutely love. It's matte, but I think it'll work well for my dry skin even in summer. I've tried Yves Saint Laurent All Hours foundation before, but it tended to separate on my dry skin over time. This one doesn't separate when mixed, and instead gives a beautiful Inner Glow. Highly recommended! This is my first time using it, so I'm wondering why it was discontinued... Since the coverage is light, it's better to mix it with a high-coverage product rather than using it alone. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2020
I have combination dehydrated skin, and I've used about 3-4 bottles of this product. As someone with oily skin, what I loved most when I first used it was how it gave a matte finish! It feels less rich and has a thinner consistency. Since sponges tend to absorb some of the foundation, I prefer applying it with my hands. The price is a bit steep for the amount you get. The coverage isn't particularly high, and I noticed some darkening, so I used a brightening moisturizer before applying this foundation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 24, 2020
The color is beautiful and matches well. It has great staying power and fades gracefully. It caused so many blemishes that I really can't recommend it for oily, sensitive skin types. - da**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2020
I fell in love with this product when I used it for my wedding photoshoot makeup. It's my absolute favorite foundation! Why on earth isn't it available anymore? I'm dying to know if it's being repackaged due to the inconvenient container or if it's been discontinued. It's driving me crazy! There are no downsides. The inconvenient packaging isn't even an issue. I'll buy it no matter what, so please, please bring it back into production ASAP! When applied thinly as a base and then layered with another foundation, it's unbeatable at covering pores and its staying power is off the charts. Please, just let me buy it again! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2020
The coverage is quite good considering how moisturizing it is. It applies beautifully and absorbs well. Since switching to this foundation, I've received many compliments on my improved skin. The glow looks natural, and it adheres perfectly to the skin. It's on the pricier side. I carry my foundation with me, but it leaks from the container. As a result, I go through it quickly. I end up wasting quite a bit of product.
