Pros
I have sensitive dry skin that tends to get very dehydrated, except in the summer. As it gets colder, creams alone are not enough, so I've tried various facial oils. Jojoba oil and camellia oil worked the best for me. Despite my concerns about oils feeling too heavy, my extremely dry skin seemed to absorb them well, and there was hardly any greasy residue. The oils also had little to no fragrance and didn't feel heavy, so they were great for daily use.
Cons
Since it's an oil, I assume it's packaged in a glass container? I accidentally dropped it once, and fortunately it didn't break, but I got quite a scare. I'd prefer if it wasn't in a glass container.
Tip
I tried using the oil after my toner, then after my essence, and then after my moisturizer. After experimenting, I found that using it as the last step, after my moisturizer, worked the best for my skin.

Pros
It was amazing how it absorbed without any stickiness as soon as I applied it. I thought it would be slippery since it's an oil, but it was the complete opposite. My kids are also using it mixed in with their lotion. I mix in a drop or two when applying my morning and evening skincare, and it provides great hydration.
Cons
It gets absorbed too quickly, so you have to use a lot to cover a large area. It's a bit inconvenient to just apply the oil on the areas where my child feels itchy. That's why I've been mixing it into the lotion.
Tip
It's best to just mix in one drop of it into your toner or lotion when doing your skincare routine.

Pros
This is an oil with good moisturizing power. Even natural oils have varying moisturizing abilities, and I found jojoba to be a bit light for me. Oils like camellia, argan, and almond were more moisturizing and beneficial. My skin texture improved, and I even saw effects on my wrinkles. Among single natural oils, even light-textured blended oils didn't really help with wrinkles. It absorbs well too. The scent is almost non-existent, which I like. Even if the effects are good, I can't use oils with strange scents like rosehip and tamanu. After using the jojoba oils from a24, Now Foods, and Desert Essence for a few days, I realized that even though they are all 100% jojoba oil, the particle size difference affects the absorption, moisturizing power, and presence of skin issues. Anyway, the jojoba oil absorbs quickly and feels good, but this JNC camellia oil is definitely better for moisturizing, skin elasticity, and wrinkle reduction.

I'm not sure if it's because natural oils don't agree with me or if it's the fault of the cleansers, but there are times when I experience severe stinging and heat, and other times when it's less intense... There are hardly any moments when I feel completely comfortable, but the effects on my skin texture, wrinkles, and elasticity are so good that I can't stop using it.. the stinging is so uncomfortable 😢 Among the natural oils, this camellia oil is the least irritating, so I keep reaching for it haha;; This is the most colorless and odorless of the oils, so I wonder if it's because the irritating impurities have been removed or the toxic(???) components from fermentation have been reduced.. that's what I'm thinking.

If you're new to using oils, start with just one drop and gradually increase the amount. It's easy to end up applying too much, like going from one drop to ten, which can cause breakouts. That was my experience - I thought the oil didn't suit me, but reducing the amount made it work perfectly. I apply two drops of oil all over my face first, then layer the skin toner two to three times, and add a bit more oil on my cheeks and around my eyes.

Pros
As I transitioned from my 20s to 30s, my skin type changed from oily and dehydrated to severely dry. I had issues with flakiness and eczema. I had tried using oils before, but never felt they were effective. However, after trying the product recommended by Director Pai, I'm seeing about 80% improvement and it seems to be helping with skin elasticity as well. The absorption is also good. I didn't want to take prescription medications that could affect my hormones, so I tried the oil and my skin has improved a lot in just 2 weeks. People around me have been commenting on how much better my skin looks. It hasn't completely resolved the dryness, but it's been a very effective product for me given how poor my skin condition was before. I've been mixing 2-3 drops into my Physiogel daily, using it morning and night.

The reason I purchased it was because a blogger said they had used this oil and seen good results for their child with atopic dermatitis. While it didn't work for my child, it was fine for me. (I have dry skin.) But the truth is, I don't really get breakouts no matter what I use. After toning my skin before bed, I applied it like an essence and it absorbed well without feeling too greasy.

I bought it for my 6-year-old's atopic dermatitis (Pihyunjung also recommended using it for her daughter with atopic skin, but warned that natural oils may not work for everyone). However, it seems the natural oil just didn't agree with my child after all... Yet strangely, no matter how much I searched online, I couldn't find any reports of people having issues with camellia oil. Believing the positive reviews, I tried it, only to have a complete disaster. Luckily I just tested a small amount first - if I had slathered it all over, it would have been a living hell for days. In our case, none of the products Pihyunjung recommended worked at all. I even briefly wondered if she and the brand were in cahoots... I had a similar experience with the Ajura lotion she had recommended on her blog (which also contains natural oil ingredients for atopic skin).
Tip
After toning, apply it like an essence. Add a drop or two to hair treatments. Mix a drop or two into body lotions.
