Being a sugar scrub, it slightly melts with body heat, making it perfect for gently exfoliating the dead skin cells on the back of my hands. It's definitely less painful compared to other products. I usually have trouble with scrubs, as most other brands left my skin looking scratched and red. But when I tried this one by chance, it didn't irritate my skin at all, while still effectively exfoliating. I've been repurchasing it endlessly ever since it runs out!
