  Pros

  I bought this for exfoliation, and I'm truly satisfied with both its cleansing and dead skin cell removal abilities. As someone whose skin tends to become sensitive and develop more flaky dead skin cells after using BHA/AHA exfoliants, I find this oil cleanser to be perfect for removal. It even gets rid of those thick, snake-like dead skin cells on inflamed acne. After using this oil cleanser, my skin doesn't feel sticky or slippery, just refreshed. When I exfoliate with this, apply my usual products, and go to sleep, I wake up with baby-soft, glowing skin.

  Cons

  There are no downsides! That's how satisfied I am. Just be aware that the non-mild version is known to be extremely sticky. For those with oily but sensitive skin, I recommend trying to dissolve sebum and blackheads with an oil cleanser like this one, rather than using harsh scrubs.

  Tip

  On exfoliation days, I apply it to bare skin and do a rolling massage for peeling. For makeup removal, I cleanse quickly and rinse it off to avoid absorbing impurities.

  Pros

  This Shu Uemura green bottle dupe is a game-changer! It's incredibly lightweight and glides on so smoothly. The best part? It removes makeup like a dream. No need for separate eye makeup remover. As someone with oily skin, I usually follow up with soap, but this cleanser leaves your skin so fresh and clean, you might not even need to. The price is wallet-friendly too - 400ml for just $25. I started with a travel-sized sample for a few bucks, fell in love, and immediately bought the full size.

  Cons

  The only downside? It's made in Japan. Radiation concerns? But then again, Shu Uemura was Japanese too, wasn't it?

  Tip

  MUJI skincare products offer great quality for the price. I recommend their toner and all-in-one gel. They have different lines: Balance for oily skin, Mild for dry skin, and a separate Sensitive line. I've tried their Sensitive cleansing oil too - it's 100% plant-based olive oil, super gentle, and removes makeup effectively. Just keep in mind it feels a bit heavy.
