The price, of course, right? Haha. You could buy six or so decent drugstore shaving foams for the cost of this one.

While steady-selling products like water lotions and face washes may overshadow it, I personally think the products in the Lab Series line are truly excellent, and this one in particular stands out.
The creamy, rich foam doesn't require excessive pumping to apply, likely due to its signature dense, cushiony texture that adheres well to the skin. The foam doesn't just lightly cover the skin's surface, but clings tightly, making the shaving process much smoother. This significantly reduces the stinging sensation compared to other products, which is a major plus in my book. The scent is also inoffensive, and I hardly experienced any redness or irritation after shaving before applying the aftershave line.
Having used countless shaving foams from budget drugstore options to premium European gels over the years, I can confidently rank this Maximum Comfort Gel among the top contenders.
