This foundation from the wrinkle-improving Capture line comes with a higher price tag, but it offers excellent coverage and adherence. It's wonderfully moisturizing, making it ideal for those with dry skin. I think it would be perfect for women in my mother's age group too! The shade seems to run slightly darker compared to other foundations, so I'd recommend visiting a store to test it in person before purchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJun 21, 2018
Above all, this foundation excels at color extraction. On darker skin tones, it's easy for foundations to leave a floating white cast, but this one naturally brightens the complexion. It's moisturizing enough for dry skin and has excellent adherence. If I had to point out a drawback, the container is a bit heavy. It might not suit those looking for a more glamorous makeup look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 30, 2018
It adheres well to the skin and brightens the complexion, resulting in a flawless makeup application without any patchiness. Unfortunately, the ingredients in this cosmetic product aren't gentle enough, making it unsuitable for use. What a shame... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 28, 2018
It absorbs beautifully with a fine texture, adheres well to the skin, and applies smoothly. I use a slightly darker shade all over my face and apply the lighter tone just in the center. While it does have a pretty dewy finish, it can get a bit shiny. As it's a hydrating product, it can break down and become shiny over time. Some people mention the lack of coverage, but I find it adequate (I use a separate concealer). The downside is the price point and difficulty in using up the entire product (a common issue with pump bottles, which is a shame). If you buy a shade slightly darker than your skin tone and apply it all over, it gives a beautiful natural look. It applies thinly, which is fantastic. Just be aware that layering it multiple times can cause it to flake off. For best results, apply one layer for a perfect fit, then use the lighter shade in the T-zone for a flawless complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 25, 2018
Color match and hydration I'm on my second bottle, and as someone with a summer cool undertone and light skin with redness but no yellow tones, it matches my complexion perfectly, especially around the jawline. Despite being a liquid formula, it's quite hydrating. As I have very dry skin and prioritize moisture, this product has been satisfying. Generally, if you have cool-toned, fair skin, you'll likely be pleased with the ivory shade. Dior's color range tends to suit cool undertones well overall. The foundation has good adherence and is easy to apply thinly for a natural look. The price is quite high, especially when purchased from department store counters. It's the second most expensive among Dior's liquid foundations. It's frustrating that you can't access all the product at the bottom of the bottle, and the cap seems impossible to open. That's a bit disappointing. While it's great for dry skin, don't expect strong coverage in exchange for the hydration. Some people might find it makes their hair stick to their face or feels heavy - though I personally didn't experience this. Like many European brands, the ingredients aren't the most skin-friendly. There are a few I wish they'd remove. Personally, this is my biggest gripe with Dior cosmetics - I've deducted one star for the ingredients. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2018
The coverage is great, it adheres well to the skin, and the staying power is excellent. Oh, and just a heads up - if you're looking for ultra-heavy coverage, that's not what this product offers. Still, it contains essence ingredients, which gives me a good feeling that it's beneficial for my skin. I've been using it for over three years! The price is quite steep for the amount you get, haha! While it matched my skin tone well, there's only one shade available. This might be challenging for those with very fair or darker complexions. When applying, it's best to use a sponge. I have dry to combination skin, not extremely dry, and using this method gives me that coveted 'Inner Glow' look, which I really love! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 20, 2018
I loved how it adhered thinly to my skin. It's not too oily either... I have combination dehydrated skin that tends to get oily in the afternoon, making cushion foundations feel heavy. So I bought this and used it for a year - it's pretty good. I applied foundation in the morning and then touched up with this powder compact later! It's a bit unsettling to see that it contains 4 potentially harmful ingredients... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2018
The color is not too bright, but just the right amount of pretty. It applies smoothly and adheres well to the skin. It usually gives a slightly dewy finish, but on dry skin types, it creates a soft, matte appearance. There's not really anything bad to say, but... occasionally, if you don't apply your skincare properly, it might pill a bit? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2018
The coverage is excellent, it adheres well to the skin, and provides great hydration. The staying power is also impressive! There might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin, as I notice dead skin cells flaking after use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 25, 2017
At first, it comes out like a thin liquid, but when applied, it sticks to the skin well - great adhesion! It applies thinly but has good coverage.. I've been using it for 5 years now. The price is quite expensive :( If the base doesn't apply well, it can slide or become patchy.
