I can't imagine how much my little one would have suffered without it. It's been the most helpful product in my arsenal.
ConsOh no... I just checked the ingredients and I'm quite disappointed. I'll have to limit its use to emergencies only. The texture is quite thick and it drips like water. I've tried other Weleda products too, but their absorption is not great. Even their face cream pills up so badly, it's been stressful every time I've used it.
TipWhenever my baby's bottom gets a rash, I apply this and it clears up in no time.

It contains zinc, which is said to be great for soothing skin, and wow, it really works! (I tried this after seeing posts about using baby cream on acne-prone skin.) My hormonal blemishes that wouldn't budge finally calmed down after just one night of using this. It's fine to apply before bed, and if I remember correctly, one of the ingredients offers some sun protection, so you can use it during the day too. For babies, as others have mentioned, it's excellent for diaper rash. I've tried everything from Bepanthen to other soothing creams, but this one's the best. It clears up rashes in a day or two at most.
ConsIt does leave a white cast on your face, haha! And it takes a while to absorb, which can be inconvenient (when I'm in a hurry and put a diaper on right after applying, it tends to rub off when cleaning). The absorption could be better. I originally bought it for my baby, but after checking the ingredients, I use it myself. If I hadn't known about the ingredients, I might have been fine with it, but now I'm on the fence about repurchasing.
TipIt's amazing that a baby product can be such a great tip for soothing blemishes! To help it absorb better, try gently patting it in or holding your warm hands over it for a bit.
