I was really into Chantecaille cosmetics for a while and tried many of their products. This one definitely makes it into my top 5. It's an oil, but it's not heavy, so it feels comfortable to use, and it has a lovely scent. (I often use oil products because of my dry skin, and this one along with the gel*oil were my two favorites.) Chantecaille products generally create moisturized skin without feeling heavy or greasy, and this one is no exception. At first, I wasn't sure how to use the oil, but a store employee suggested mixing a couple of drops into all my products. When I tried that, I found I could use less of my other products, they absorbed better, and there seemed to be a synergistic effect thanks to the oil.
The price is definitely the downside. It's quite expensive. The 50ml size is actually cheaper per ml than the 30ml. Also, the lid is problematic, so I've been using it with the cap only half closed.
I mix it with essences or creams when I use it. I even add a drop to hand cream - it makes my hands look much prettier!
