I switched from the regular Idéal Soleil to the Dry version because when I sweat, the original one made my eyes sting badly. The Dry version doesn't feel sticky and is much gentler on my eyes. After trying other sunscreens, I bought this one when it was on sale. The cream is neither too thick nor too runny, and it doesn't leave much residue! I've been consistently purchasing and using only this sunscreen ever since! I absolutely can't stand sunscreens that feel heavy and sticky, but this product is a game-changer. It's lightweight, non-sticky, and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I've been using it exclusively for years now. With so many derma products hitting the market, I heard this brand has pulled out of the domestic market. Looks like I might have to start ordering it from overseas.

The texture is a non-sticky cream formula that leaves a nice glow with just the right amount of richness after application. My skin type is dry and sensitive, so in winter my cheeks get red and I'm prone to blemishes. I always make sure to keep my skin well-hydrated. On my skin, I get small bumps and acne on my forehead, under-eye area, and cheeks. There's some eye irritation when used close to the eyes. Even though I bought it on sale, there's nothing good enough about it to make me want to buy it again, even at that discounted price. It stings my eyes. The sunscreen doesn't absorb well, leaving a sticky feeling. The stickiness gets on everything - clothes, car handles - making it a hassle. It's moisturizing with a slight brightening effect, perfect for a light makeup day when I just apply this alone. The amount is a bit small. I wish there was a little more product in the container.

It's moisturizing for dry skin, with a texture that's refreshing and not sticky. 2. It has a typical sunscreen scent, but the fresh fragrance is pleasant. 3. It's great for light makeup when you're only wearing sunscreen. 1. There's some pilling when wearing heavy makeup. It doesn't pair well with foundation or cushion compacts. 2. Though I don't have super sensitive skin, occasionally I got some small bumps on my forehead with consistent use. 3. My previous sunscreen clogged my pores and caused a breakout of blemishes, but after using this one, they gradually disappeared... The ingredients are definitely superior. One downside is that if you don't spread it properly before it dries, it can leave a white cast. This sunscreen applies smoothly with a hydrating feel, then sets to a matte finish. I've been using it loyally for years. I'm not a fan of strong fragrances in cosmetics, and this product has quite a noticeable scent.
