I have combination dehydrated skin that gets super oily in summer. When I first used this, I was surprised by how little foam it produced - I had to double-check if it was actually a foam cleanser! I found that the best way to create foam is to wet my hands first, then lather the product. Being a gel-foam, it leaves my skin feeling smooth and not dried out after cleansing. That's why I used it until spring and started again in fall. In summer, I felt it didn't cleanse thoroughly enough. The large size lasted me almost a year. By the time I could see the bottom of the container, I noticed my skin texture had become much smoother. The biggest downside is the ingredients list. I've tried many aesthetic products through blog deals, and not a single one had great ingredients. Yet, somehow my skin improves! So even though I tell myself I shouldn't use it, when my skin acts up, I'm tempted to try it again. As for the brightening effects, I personally didn't notice much difference. I used this along with the White Moon serum. I find that using products from the same line often creates a synergistic effect.

Before, I was in a rush to apply products right after washing due to deep dryness and tightness. After about a month of regular use, I've noticed the tightness has reduced somewhat. It's frustrating that it doesn't lather up! There's a slight slippery feeling that makes it confusing whether I've cleaned properly or not. As a result, I end up washing more thoroughly and slowly while checking the mirror.
