I've been using their shampoos and conditioners for nearly three years, and so far, I haven't experienced any major blemishes. Even without special care, I can feel my hair becoming healthier. The Jojoba line, especially the conditioner, feels a bit richer compared to other lines. Personally, I find that the texture progresses from light and fluffy to rich and silky in this order: Pomegranate, Aloe, Tea Tree, Biotin, Herbal, and Jojoba. You can choose based on your hair condition, preferred scent, and texture. Some people say Nature's Gate shampoos don't lather much, but I disagree. While other commercial shampoos seem to use surfactants to create artificially abundant foam, this product produces just the right amount of lather. I usually do a quick pre-wash with a small amount of shampoo, then follow up with a proper wash. When I do this, even a small amount creates a rich lather compared to using it all at once.
ConsAs someone with hair that gets oily quickly, I found the Jojoba line conditioner a bit tricky to use. Compared to other lines, I had to be extra careful not to apply it too close to the scalp and rinse thoroughly. While it provides ample nourishment for damaged hair, those with oily scalps or hair that gets greasy quickly should use it cautiously.
TipI found that applying the conditioner, leaving it on for a bit like a treatment while showering, and then rinsing it off left my hair feeling more hydrated.
