I discovered the Aritaum All Day Lasting Primer through a YouTuber I follow! Their recommendation prompted me to buy it during a sale.
While the coverage isn't perfect, it does provide some level of evenness. As someone who dislikes heavy makeup and usually only uses a brightening moisturizer and sunscreen, I find this product convenient since it eliminates the need for a separate sunscreen and helps even out my complexion. Plus, it has a slight pink tint that gives my face a radiant look!
The adherence is great if you pat it onto your skin! Being a primer, you can feel it creating a thin, smooth layer on your skin.
The texture starts off hydrating, almost water-like, but once you've applied it all over, your skin feels incredibly soft and matte! Personally, I found it a bit too drying, but I'd highly recommend this for those with oily skin!
As someone sensitive to scents, I have to admit... I wasn't a fan of the fragrance. It smells too much like artificial cosmetic chemicals.
I was surprised by how matte it made my skin, and I don't even have particularly dry skin... While this might be great for those with oily skin, if you have dry skin, I'd recommend testing it before purchasing!
Primers are supposed to improve makeup adherence and longevity, but honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference... If anything, my makeup seemed to break down faster. This might vary depending on skin type, but personally, I'd recommend using it on its own for a light, daily look!
It's great for quickly evening out skin tone and texture when you're short on time!
If you have dry skin, I recommend using it with a hydrating product!
e.g., Primer + hydrating foundation
Be careful not to apply it too thickly! Your makeup might not sit well if you do.
