Even a small amount squeezes out covers the entire face. There is less emphasis on flaky skin compared to other BB creams or foundations, and it's not too dry or shiny, which I like. After applying, it has a nice, smooth finish. I've tried several more expensive department store foundations, but they all had severe darkening, so this is the best for me.
