It absorbs well and quickly, leaving no sticky feeling at all. The strong herbal scent might cause headaches, which is disappointing. - co*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2021
As someone with atopic dermatitis on my legs, this cream's hydration is so effective that I didn't experience any itching even in the dead of winter when using only this. Usually, products with great moisturizing power tend to absorb poorly, but this one strikes an excellent balance between hydration and absorption. I'm not sure if they added fragrance to recreate a camphor scent, but it smells like a medicated patch in a forest full of phytoncides. In 2018, it was available for around $4, but now the price has skyrocketed to $45, more than 11 times higher. While it might seem reasonable compared to airfare, it's disappointing when you consider other creams with similar effects. The cheapest way to buy this seems to be asking friends traveling or living abroad to get it for you. If that's not possible, keep an eye out for social commerce sites where products nearing expiration are sometimes discounted up to 80-90% off. That's the best time to make a purchase. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2021
Light texture that absorbs well without any sticky feeling. As someone with dry skin, I find it convenient and comfortable to apply this generously after toner, even when I'm feeling lazy. It keeps my skin hydrated without any deep dryness. The camphor scent is quite strong. The fragrance might be polarizing - you'll either love it or hate it. - sa*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 4, 2021
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I apply this thinly when my skin feels deeply dry and rough during seasonal changes. Even when using gentle skincare products consistently, sometimes hydration issues persist. In those cases, when I feel like I need to layer multiple products, I boldly use just this cream after toner. The texture is a medium-weight cream with a slight oily feel. It's not thick or stiff, but rather similar to or slightly more luminous than a typical eye cream. While the dimethicone (silicone ingredient) towards the end of the ingredient list ensures moisture, I personally find silicones can make my skin feel stuffy. So I prefer applying a thin layer at night when my skin is extremely dry during seasonal transitions. It's also effective on hands that are chapped from frequent water exposure. From my experience, this product seems tailored for skin dried out by foreign climates and water, typical of international brands. Recommended for those with dry skin. The scent is stronger than expected and unfamiliar compared to Korean cosmetics, which might be off-putting at first. Especially if you're not fond of cucumber-like fragrances. The ingredients list may be polarizing. It's crucial to check if any ingredients you're sensitive to are listed near the top before purchasing. Applying a thin layer before bed during seasonal changes prevents deep dryness the next day. - na*******Dry SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2021
It absorbs well without feeling slippery, and the hydration effect lasts for a long time. I really like it! The scent is way too strong... I agree with those who say it feels like applying a medicinal patch to your face. - gy*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 2, 2020
Ingram's Camphor Cream Original - a true gem! After trying the 75ml Herb version and loving it, I repurchased the 300ml Herb and decided to give the Original a try too. This South African national treasure has an 80-year legacy! It's packed with naturally-derived 'camphor' from camphor trees. Created in 1937 by a German pharmacologist at the request of Ingram's, South Africa's largest pharmacy. It's a godsend for sensitive skin, eczema, dryness, itchiness, and even soothes sunburns. Despite being a cooling cream suitable for summer, it has a refreshing feel. It takes a bit of massaging to absorb, but once it does - wow! It's like it was never there. Truly impressive! Great for hydration and helps improve skin circulation, promoting clear and elastic skin. Give it a try - you won't regret it! @ingrams_kr #SouthAfricanNationalCream #Ingrams #CamphorCream #CoolingCream #SkinSoothing #SummerSkincare #SensitiveSkin #SoothingProduct #Hydration #Calming #Elasticity #CoolingEffect #QuickAbsorption #Love Nothing negative to report! I loved how it moisturized instantly without feeling slippery. The scent was gradually addictive, almost like aromatherapy. I bought this camphor cream on recommendation and I don't regret it at all! Well, I can't think of any downsides yet. I'm planning to repurchase it in the future. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2020
It's great for hydration and has been helping with my child's atopic itch It's disappointing to hear that it contains potential allergens in its ingredients - hj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2020
It provides good hydration without excessive oiliness. It's suitable for those with very dry skin. The scent is... too strong and long-lasting, making me dizzy. It smells similar to a medicated patch, intense and lingering. I don't dislike it because it smells like a patch, but the scent itself is overpowering and persistent. While it might be okay for hands and feet, I absolutely can't apply it to my face. Also, it spreads with a white cast, making it difficult to apply quickly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 15, 2020
As someone with dry, sensitive skin and a skin condition on my back, I apply this product all over my body, including my face. I love how smoothly it spreads without resistance, making application effortless. There's an instant cooling effect that's refreshing and helps soothe my skin. The hydration seems to last for an incredibly long time. The scent is surprisingly strong, reminiscent of medicated patches or Tiger Balm. While the texture feels light yet slightly oily, it leaves a thick, tacky feeling when applied all over the body. There's no stickiness or shine, but it does create a somewhat stiff sensation on the skin, making it uncomfortable when putting on clothes. To counteract this, I layer a more slippery product like Cetaphil on top. Another downside is the lack of a seal under the lid when purchasing, which raises some concerns about product safety.
