Other products that emulsify with water just didn't agree with my skin, and I wasn't sure they were cleaning thoroughly enough. I've tried everything to get rid of blackheads on my nose bridge and tip (Clarisonic, ReFa CARAT, LG devices, peeling tools, various electronic gadgets, 2-3 types of cleansing brushes, DHC oil, Artistry oil, History of Whoo, Eve Lom, and various blackhead and clay masks). The only things that somewhat worked were the Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub and Green Peel. This product has made my nose bridge, the area between my nose and cheeks, and my forehead super smooth. While using a warm compress is a bit of a hassle... I actually bought the Badger Argan Cleansing Oil first (now discontinued), and was confused when it didn't emulsify. But when I applied it as instructed and used a warm compress, I was shocked to see the tiny bumps between my nose and cheeks almost disappear. Although the warm compress is a bit of a bother, I tried everything else and came back to this method. Since the Argan Cleansing Oil is gone, I bought this one instead. The fragrance is lovely and it works great.
ConsThe glass packaging makes it tricky to use in the bathroom. It's slippery when you try to reapply. And it's a bit of a hassle to always use a warm, damp towel for the compress.
TipI apply it all over my face and use a warm compress, then reapply to the nose area and use another warm compress. Blackheads don't disappear all at once. You need to be consistent to see them gradually reduce. After this, I follow up with a foaming cleanser or soap for a second cleanse, and finish with cold water for a radiant complexion.
