This is a toner, not a lotion! It absorbs smoothly and evenly. The fragrance is nice, and the formula applies easily without any burden. I think this would be suitable for all skin types in the summer. However, I wouldn't recommend using it alone in the winter.

The texture is thicker and more moisturizing than a regular toner. My skin is extremely dry and prone to atopy... My dermatologist said I was born with high-maintenance skin. In special situations, I even experience severe allergic reactions. (But I didn't know this product had such a long list of caution ingredients and allergens. Maybe my skin has gotten healthier?;) When my skin is not troubled (I only use the moisturizer prescribed by my dermatologist when I have breakouts), the watery-like formula feels much more hydrating than a regular toner, and the moisture lasts for a long time, almost plumping up my skin! It's like combining a toner and essence in one step. Except for extremely cold and windy weather, I usually just apply this and follow up with a cream.~!!!

The price is outrageous..........ㅠㅠ When my skin is extremely sensitive, there can be a slight stinging sensation. My mother has the same skin type as me, and she feels it even more intensely than I do. For those who don't like the 'slippy' feeling, this product absorbs well when used alone, but if you apply it multiple times or layer it over other products, it can feel a bit tacky, which is understandable.
Tip

It provides a moisturized and nourished complexion with just one use. The scent also gives a somehow healthy feeling haha I use it as a toner substitute as I have sensitive dry skin. Just one application leaves a moisturized and bouncy feel, like having applied a cream. Layering it with an essence and cream also helps my skin stay hydrated even on extremely dry days during seasonal changes or winter.
Cons
I use it more often in winter than summer. It seems highly nourishing, and applying it too much like a 7-skin method can lead to milia formation... Lightly tapping it on seems to be the best way.
Tip
Starting with this, then using the Aesop Parsley Seed Serum, and finally the Creme de la Mer, even this simple routine can keep my skin moisturized and glowing^^

Already on my 5th bottle!! It wraps the skin snugly and the scent is just my style! I highly recommend it, especially for those with sensitive skin! It's great to apply in the evening on days when your face gets flushed!

Compared to other similar products, there aren't any major downsides that I can see.

As expected, it's worth the high price. First of all, it's nicely dense like an essence, just as the name 'Treatment Lotion' suggests. You can just apply this alone for a simple summer skincare routine. In the winter, add a moisturizing cream!
