※Important note: This product is for a self-clinic treatment and should not be used alone. A hot cap is essential. For 2 or 3-step clinic treatments, use this as the final step in the Ador LP series. 《I used the LP pre and LP program as a 2-step process.》 The following details my personal experience, so feel free to skip if you're only interested in the product itself. _________________________________________________ Why I tried it: My hair is damaged from frequent coloring. It's thin and splits easily. A salon recommended monthly clinic treatments, but they cost at least $40, usually $100. The effects only last a week to a month, so I was unsure about the ongoing expense... A stylist suggested that instead of monthly treatments, I should switch to high-quality daily shampoo and conditioner. They said daily care is crucial, just like skincare. They recommended options ranging from $30 to $70 for 500ml. [Wow! That price for just shampoo and conditioner?!] I was shocked and left empty-handed. But after thinking it over at home, I realized: $100 for one monthly clinic treatment vs. $60 (2 x $30) for 3-6 months of daily shampoo & conditioner The stylist was right - using effective products daily could be cheaper and better than occasional treatments. So I tried my first premium shampoo and conditioner. It solved the issue of my damaged hair getting tangled when I brushed it. I realized I needed to rethink my previous (supermarket) purchases. While my damaged hair became easier to brush, reaching the level of silky, bouncy hair was still my goal. So I looked into self-clinic treatments. _________________________________________________ A clinic treatment involves 'opening', 'filling', and 'closing' the hair. Opening is like a perm solution. Filling uses ingredients like 'keratin' and 'collagen'. Closing is like a neutralizer. Timing is crucial. You know what happens if you miss the neutralizing time when perming? Your hair becomes a frizzy mess. It's like it melts or burns. Truly heartbreaking. So, please follow the timing carefully. First, shampoo your hair. Apply the pre-treatment (step 1) and wait 3 minutes. ※During this time, prepare for step 2: plug in the hot cap and dispense the needed amount of product into a silicone bowl (as it takes time to apply to medium-length hair). Apply the LP program (step 2) evenly in 5-6 sections. Quick and thorough application ☆ Then put on a plastic cap (to protect the hot cap). ※Unlike regular treatments or masks that soften hair as you apply, you won't notice changes during application. Wear the hot cap for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove the hot cap and let it cool for 5 minutes. ※Don't rinse immediately. Your hair will still feel stiff and unchanged. Now rinse with lukewarm water. (Hot water isn't good for hair. Lukewarm or cool is best) ※Don't be discouraged if your hair still feels stiff after rinsing. Now dry your hair with cool air. (※Avoid hot air) This is when you'll start to see changes. Your previously stiff, unmanageable hair will start to feel silky as it dries. It transformed my damaged hair from stiff to smooth, if not quite 'angel ring' bouncy. If you ask about the difference between [hot cap + treatment] vs [LP program clinic], I'd say it's in the hair thickness(?). There's a bit more volume, and your hair stays bouncy even after being tied up and let down. How long does it last? The bouncy volume lasts about a week. Good volume for 2 weeks (with some tangling) The container!!!! I don't understand why they used a soft, popsicle-like plastic container. Why not use a regular plastic bottle... Because it's so flimsy, I put it in a hard case. There's a 1cm gap between the hard case and the product, and it floats about 2cm when placed inside. If dropped, it will definitely open and spill everywhere. I stuffed bubble wrap between the hard case and the product, and also at the bottom. -----> I have medium-length hair. It takes at least 6-8 pumps to get enough product. I got frustrated pumping and tried to turn it upside down after opening the lid, but nothing came out. The formula seems quite thick. (Like a tub of treatment) Without the hard case, pressing firmly makes it easier to dispense the right amount. ※I use a silicone bowl to portion it out. It might be better to open the lid and squeeze rather than pumping. So I'm planning to ditch the hard case and find a similar-sized lid to use instead. It might be more convenient for those with long hair. They probably used this type of container for the large volume. Just be careful when storing it, as it will definitely burst open if dropped. Only do this when you have plenty of time, as timing is crucial. It seems Ador's official site no longer sells this. Not many online stores sell the set either. I wonder if it's being discontinued? Though the manufacturing date is quite recent... For reference, I did this clinic treatment 1-2 months after the Aromatica photo, after two more full-color dye jobs that further damaged my hair. - ha**********Dry SkinMar 20, 2016
I've been using this with the pre-product every weekend on Saturday and Sunday, and my hair, which had become thin and lifeless due to bleaching, has become much stronger. It's not just soft, but it's become more resilient and manageable. After using it for two days on the weekend, even when I use a different treatment the following week, that strong feeling remains. It's absolutely amazing, and I'm definitely planning to repurchase it! There's not much to complain about, but the container is attached to a hard case like those used in hair salons. Without the case, it seems like it might tear easily because it's so soft... I wish the container itself was a bit sturdier. It also takes up quite a bit of space, unfortunately. Make sure to use it with the protein pre-product! They sent an extra sample which I gave to a friend, but she said it felt like using a regular treatment. Apparently, it works even better if you handle it a lot. I applied it and then used a wide-toothed comb to detangle and distribute it evenly throughout my hair.
