I bought this because it contains fine particles, so I thought I wouldn't need a separate scrub. My skin feels squeaky clean after washing. I used to exfoliate once every 1-2 weeks, but after using this product daily, it seems my skin got irritated. Red spots appeared, not like bumpy hives or blemishes, but just smooth red patches on my skin. Since switching to a gentle cleansing foam, it's starting to improve. - ca*******Dry SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2020
I bought this product thinking it might help with pore care since it's marketed as a pore cleansing foam. When I first squeezed it out, the color reminded me of a mud pack, somewhere between pearl and clay. Applying it, I could feel the granules and thought they might help with dead skin cell removal. Surprisingly, it also had a cooling effect, which was quite refreshing. After rinsing it off immediately, my skin felt incredibly clean. I think this sensation is why I've stuck with this product for so long. My sister, who has sensitive and oily skin, used it without any issues, so it seems suitable for both dry and oily skin types. Since I've been using this product for both cleansing and exfoliation, I think it would be especially beneficial for those who struggle with dead skin cells on their face. Although it's called a daily pore cleansing foam, I didn't notice any significant improvements in pore care after using it daily and comparing results. Personally, I prioritize cleansing effectiveness in a foam cleanser over other features, so I continued using it without much concern. However, if pore care is your main focus, you might be disappointed. Apart from that, it has good cleansing power, feels nice on the skin, and absorbs well, making it a decent all-around product. For those who often deal with dead skin cells on their face, try using the granules in this foam to gently massage your skin - it could be an effective way to exfoliate! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2020
I didn't know much about the ingredients, but I didn't have any major issues using it! Although I'm still not very familiar with the ingredients, I didn't experience any significant discomfort while using it! - gs*****Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 7, 2020
This product has excellent cleansing effectiveness. Other than that, there aren't really any notable advantages to recommend... It's not effective for managing blackheads. It didn't suit my dry and redness-prone skin. After cleansing, I felt severe deep dryness. Despite having oily skin, contrary to the product description, it only feels clean right after cleansing, but the oiliness returns not long after. If you're looking for a foam cleanser with good cleansing power, consider buying this when it's on sale. Absolutely not recommended for those with dry skin or prone to redness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2020
Compared to other products, there's nothing particularly special about this one. If I had to pick something, it does lather up well. I have acne-prone skin, and this didn't cause any breakouts (though everyone's skin is different, so be careful!). My mom bought this foam cleanser, and it does a pretty good job of cleansing. After using it, my skin feels squeaky clean! I have acne-prone skin with a lot of sebum, so I had some expectations before using this foam cleanser. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to live up to its name. It doesn't effectively remove blackheads or whiteheads from my pores. I also don't feel like my acne is improving. Another issue is that if I wash my face with this foam for more than 3 minutes, my nose area starts to sting and hurt. When I quickly rinsed off the foam, I noticed my skin was irritated. My nose area was bright red, and applying toner was really painful! Since I tend to massage a bit more vigorously, using this foam cleanser for even a short time left my skin feeling irritated and uncomfortable. It feels too harsh on my skin. Normally, you should apply slight pressure with your fingertips when massaging, but it hurt so much that I had to be extremely gentle, which then made the cleansing less effective. Also, after using this cleansing foam, it feels like the moisture in my face evaporates really quickly, so you need to apply a moisturizer right away. When I touched my skin after washing, it felt completely dried out. The color of this foam cleanser is slightly more brownish than foundation, so when I use it to remove makeup, I can't tell if it's the foundation coming off or just the color of the cleanser. Because of this, I end up having to scrub harder, which isn't ideal. Make sure to lather up the foam cleanser before using it - this makes it less irritating. When massaging it on your face, absolutely do not rub too hard! Your skin will become irritated like mine did. Be even gentler than you usually are when cleansing. After rinsing off the foam cleanser, gently pat your face to help absorption. This will help prevent moisture loss. Then, immediately follow up with a hydrating skincare routine. - kd****Oily SkinAcne SkinMar 4, 2020
It's just... well... it's just a cleansing foam. I should've spent a bit more on an acne-specific cleansing foam... This one is really just mediocre. The lather is poor, and the consistency is extremely thin... The cleanser itself has such a dark color that even when you work up a lather, it looks like you're washing off foundation. As for pore care? Can't tell if it's doing anything at all. Seems the same whether I use it or not. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2020
This is a foam cleanser I've been using for a long time. It was consistently reliable and didn't cause any blemishes. It suited me well. Plus, The Face Shop has many stores, so it was easy to purchase. After discovering the Hwahae app and checking the ingredients to be cautious about, I decided to switch to a different foam cleanser. That's all there is to it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2020
A decent product that doesn't trigger blemishes. My younger sibling with teenage skin swears by it. They bought it to manage their pores, sebum, and blackheads, and they say it works pretty well. The texture is a bit thin and runny, which might be inconvenient for some users. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedSep 16, 2019
After using this, I noticed a significant reduction in blackheads around my nose area! It's amazing! My nose feels so much smoother now, which really makes me happy. The cleanser also lathers up nicely. Everything about it is great, but it's disappointing that it contains some potentially harmful ingredients. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 7, 2019
The cleansing effectiveness seems decent, making it suitable for oily skin types. However, there's nothing particularly outstanding about it that I'd strongly recommend. I have some blemishes, but I'm not sure about its effectiveness in soothing them.
