At first, I wasn't sure if it was actually cleansing and felt a bit uneasy, but after getting used to it, the redness significantly decreased. While it didn't completely eliminate my blemishes, it did prevent large, inflamed ones from appearing! I didn't have any issues with it, but if you're looking for that squeaky-clean feeling after cleansing, this might not be the best choice for you.
