It's a slightly heavier oil-type essence, perfect for extremely damaged hair. Those with healthy hair might find it a bit too rich. If you're prone to back or chest blemishes, be careful not to let your treated hair touch those areas. My hair is long and bleached, prone to tangling at the ends, which further damages the cuticles and leaves it looking dry and lifeless. Applying this to my slightly damp ends makes them smooth and prevents tangling, which I love.

The lid feels a bit flimsy... But other than that, there's not much to complain about. It's a decent product overall.
