It has a delightful citrus scent (similar to tangerine) and provides long-lasting hydration. It's quickly becoming my new favorite beauty essential. After about 20-30 minutes, it absorbs completely without any stickiness, leaving my skin pleasantly moisturized.
ConsFor those with oily skin, it might be a bit too rich to use all over the face. Overall, I'm still quite satisfied. Just be careful in warm places, as the oils can melt and the product may become runny.
TipI find it works best when used primarily on the body - like the back of hands, cheekbones, and arms. This way, it's not too heavy and provides just the right amount of hydration.

But with winter causing severe dryness, I decided to give it a go. Initially, it felt a bit thick and heavy, but overnight it kept my skin hydrated, and the next morning my complexion was incredibly smooth. Surprisingly, my T-zone produced less oil than expected. I'm really satisfied with it. After checking, I'm also impressed by its ingredients.
ConsI haven't had the chance to use it during summer yet, and I'm a bit apprehensive. My main concern is that my T-zone, especially around the nose, tends to get very oily, leading to blackheads and whiteheads.
TipAfter cleansing morning and evening, I apply toner to balance my skin. Then, I warm a small amount of this product between my palms and gently pat it onto my face, followed by a light massage. It absorbs well and doesn't feel heavy, which I love. It's a must-have for me before makeup in winter! I hope to see ingredient analyses for other Josie Maran products too. I've been eyeing their foundation lately...

I've been extremely satisfied using Josie Maran oil, so I bought other products from the line during my trip to the US. It's creamier than regular oil, providing excellent hydration, but it applies a bit stickier. It's perfect for winter when oil alone isn't enough. You need to warm it between your hands to melt the solid bits before applying. It's easier to use than regular oil since it doesn't drip. It has a slight peach scent that puts me in a good mood. Even with my super sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes!
ConsIf you don't melt it properly before applying, you can feel oil granules on your skin.
TipIt works best when used as a final step to seal in moisture after applying hydrating products. Keep it in a cool place, as it can liquefy into oil if stored in warm temperatures.
