Ah, this product is so good. When I'm in a hurry, I can just swipe it on and go, and my face looks radiant and there's no darkening!!!!! It's not completely bare-faced, but it can give a bare-faced skin expression haha

Pros
It helps to balance the tone well and covers the pores effectively. It holds the skin cover product applied on top for a long time. The Chanel products in particular seem to be a perfect match with each other... I always use this base when using Chanel foundation or cushion products. When applied on this base, the pore coverage and lasting power are really great. It's a world of difference compared to when I use a base from another brand. And the fragrance is really... -_-bbbb

The color is vibrant and fresh~ Just applying this alone will give you a brightened complexion.
Cons
If you don't exfoliate the dead skin, it can emphasize the flakiness... When I used it as a base, it actually caused some breakouts for me and seemed to accentuate my pores a bit.
Tip
I've been mixing it with a slightly yellow-toned foundation (e.g. Double Wear), and that has helped make the foundation color look nicer and I haven't experienced the breakouts that can happen when I use it on its own~

I may prefer the pink base, but the color is just so pleasing to me!!

The brightening of the complexion. It's just like using an expensive cosmetic product. It's good to use in the summer as the makeup doesn't come off.

Pros
There is a slight brightening effect. It doesn't make me extremely pale, but it does give a natural glow. It also seems to be faithful to the foundation's core purpose - it enhances the longevity of makeup and reduces darkening. When applied, it has a soft, powdery feel. It may be a bit drying, but on the flip side, it doesn't make me look greasy and I don't need to powder.
Cons
The application isn't very smooth, and the formula isn't particularly hydrating. When worn alone, it can accentuate any flakiness or uneven texture. However, if your skin is in good condition and you layer it with a thin foundation (e.g. Guerlain Lingerie de Peau), it really makes your skin look amazing... But if your skin is not in great shape, it won't cover any unevenness at all. Given the dry, non-hydrating formula, it really shows your skin as is. The biggest disappointment is probably the price - Chanel products aren't cheap online either. It just feels too precious to use... If you dab it on with a sponge, it eats up a lot of product, but applying it with your fingers isn't bad either.
