I think this product has an incredible amount of product. I might be the only one who feels this way (since I'm the only person I know who uses it), but once you open it, it feels like it lasts at least a year...? I can't even remember when I first opened it... It just seems to last so much longer than other products, you know? The good points are: 1. Minimal irritation 2. Generally suitable for most skin types 3. Doesn't leave any residue 4. Feels like good value for money Oh, and I should mention that I usually buy it directly from overseas! It doesn't remove heavy makeup in one go. So here's a pro tip for you: 1st Cleanse: Apply directly to dry skin and massage. For minimal irritation, use 1.5 to 2 pumps. Then, add water and continue massaging to emulsify. Don't rub too hard! 2nd Cleanse: Use just a small amount, about 1/3 to 1/2 pump, mixed with water to create a lather. Focus on areas where makeup might still remain. I usually target my eye area since mascara tends to be stubborn. Follow this with your regular foam cleanser, and you're done! Everyone, I might be the only one who knows this trick (if not, I apologize)... You know how annoying it is when steam fogs up your bathroom mirror? Well, if you rub soap on it and wait, it prevents the steam from forming! But the downside is that soap can leave residue (and it's a waste to use pump products for this). That's where Vichy comes in handy. Just use one pump, mix it with a bit of water, and apply it all over the mirror. It stays clear for about a week. It's cleanliness personified. Also, I've seen some people using cleansing gel for shaving, so I tried it too, and it works pretty well. If you usually use soap for shaving, give this a try! (However, if you have shaving foam, I'd recommend sticking with that - save this trick for emergencies) - ks*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2023
I was surprised by how this cleansing gel produced richer lather than other gels I've used, and it rinsed off cleanly without feeling slippery. It's the first cleansing gel since Needly that washes off so effortlessly. The cleansing effectiveness seems comparable to typical cleansing gels. Being part of Vichy's gentle line, it left my skin feeling soft and supple for longer after patting dry, without any deep dryness. Overall, it's a very satisfying cleansing gel. It has a fragrance similar to Norm Madam, likely due to added perfume. The application experience is typical of standard cleansing gels. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2021
Gentle on the skin and refreshing. Almost fragrance-free, allowing for comfortable use without any unpleasant sensations. The cleansing effectiveness seems a bit lacking. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase domestically. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
I was worried it might be too harsh since it claims to cleanse even fine dust, but it wasn't overwhelming even for morning use. The cleansing effectiveness seems pretty good. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. I like that it's a cleansing gel, which makes it less burdensome on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 19, 2020
I always use this. Unless you're wearing extremely heavy makeup, it removes almost everything cleanly. Best of all, it doesn't cause any blemishes. There's nothing really bad about it, but I wish they'd have sales more often. The texture seems transparent at first, but as you use it, it seems to turn slightly yellowish. I squeeze out one or two pumps, roll it between my hands until it starts to foam, then mix it with some water to create even more lather. I use this to remove my facial makeup and waterproof mascara. - li******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2020
As someone with dry skin, I loved that it didn't leave my skin feeling as parched after cleansing compared to other products. While I felt the cleansing effectiveness was a bit mild for my face, I decided to use it as a body wash. Surprisingly, whether it was due to this product or not, I noticed my chest blemishes significantly calmed down! It would be great if they came out with a larger size for body wash use. I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't have a rich, creamy lather and its cleansing power isn't particularly strong, so it doesn't provide a deep cleanse. It's described as being effective for removing fine dust, but I'm not really sure about that claim. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who experienced this effect, but for those with body blemishes, it might be worth trying as a body wash! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2020
As someone prone to facial blemishes, my dermatologist recommended using a cleansing gel or water-based cleanser instead of cleansing oil. I tried this product and it's truly amazing! While the price is a bit steep, I highly recommend this product for its effectiveness. The price is the main drawback. Even when ordering online, it's not particularly affordable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2019
I loved how the moisturizing effect lasted long after application. Even without immediately applying an emulsion, my skin didn't dry out quickly. The downside is that its cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong, so I only use it as part of my morning routine. - vy****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2019
This review is based on using up an entire bottle. Most cleansing gels are gentle but often lack cleansing effectiveness. However, this product stands out with its balanced cleansing power. Initially, I thought it was a bit pricey even on sale, but it lasted over two months with twice-daily use, proving to be quite generous in quantity. The more I used it, the more I appreciated it - it's exactly the cleansing gel I've been looking for! I've accidentally dropped it a few times, but the packaging is sturdy, and the pump works flawlessly. As mentioned above, the price is the only drawback. Apart from that, there's nothing to complain about. - ai****Oily SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2019
I tried this product based on a recommendation, but I'm not sure if it's really good for me. After using it, my face felt a bit uncomfortable, but I can't say for certain if it was due to this cleanser or another cosmetic product.
