The shipping packaging is quite unusual. They should wrap the product in bubble wrap and then place it in a box. What's the point of putting it in a box and then wrapping the box in bubble wrap? Fortunately, the contents weren't damaged, so I can still use it. For future orders, please improve the packaging method. Unfortunately, the product arrived damaged. Please take more care with the packaging next time. When shipping cosmetics or skincare products, proper packaging is crucial to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Bubble wrap should be used to protect the individual items before placing them in a sturdy box. This helps prevent damage from impacts during transit and maintains the integrity of delicate products like moisturizers, serums, or makeup items. - ha******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is truly impressive, even compared to more expensive brands! It removes makeup well and is gentle on the skin. This is my holy grail product - I've already gone through over 7 bottles. I've tried other brands like Torriden and Bioderma in between, but I couldn't find anything better for the price, so I keep coming back to this one. When I used cleansing oils in the past, I always had whiteheads clogging my pores (especially in the T-zone), but since switching to this cleansing water, they've completely disappeared. My pores are now clear, which has become a different concern, but overall my skin looks much cleaner. I also love that the fragrance isn't too strong. There's nothing bad to say! The volume is great, and the formula is excellent. Above all, it's so gentle on the skin. If you get both the large and small sizes of Daiso foam dispensers, you can use the big one for your bathroom at home and the small one for travel. It's amazing how long it lasts this way. Interestingly, when you foam it up to remove makeup, the foam quickly dissolves into a water-like consistency. However, when using it to remove just sunscreen, the foam stays intact, making it easy to check if all the makeup has been thoroughly removed from your face. I recently had a bad breakout on my back that wouldn't go away no matter what I tried. I remembered that cleansing water helped me three years ago, so I decided to use it again. I created foam with the cleansing water and used it instead of body wash on my chest and back, gently massaging it in before rinsing. Within two weeks, my back acne completely cleared up! For those struggling with back acne, it's often due to sebum that regular body wash can't fully remove. Using cleansing water can really help. Even if you don't use it as a foam, just applying it with a cotton pad to your back and chest can make a huge difference. You'll be shocked to see how much dirt and oil comes off - it can even look yellowish or brownish! If you do this consistently, it's incredibly effective for back acne. - wi****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2025
I bought this as a cleansing water, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much more hydrating and moisturizing it is than expected. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. After trying it out, I found it to be quite satisfactory. - 21*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 19, 2025
Skin type - Sensitive combination (redness, heat sensation, pores, scars, milia) Preferred texture - Fragrance-free, watery, moisturizing O - Thick, sticky, matte X 3-month usage review - No burning sensation - No stinging - Good cleansing power I'm not sure how it would look on my forehead or cheeks since I've only used it on my eyebrows, eyes, and lips. It's a safe pick! A small tip - I used it with a 5-ply cotton pad, and it wiped off gently without any irritation. - ds*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 19, 2025
It cleans up nicely! The fragrance is also refreshing, so it's good. There are no downsides yet! It's gentle and therefore non-irritating - lb****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2025
It wipes off well and is gentle, so I've been using this one for several bottles now. There are no particular downsides. I think I'll stick with this cleansing water product. - 37*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2025
It's gentle, and I use it with a foam maker. I love how it lathers up nicely! I've only tried this product so far, so I don't have any negatives to report yet! I'll update after trying other products. Using it with a foaming dispenser is great - it doesn't irritate my skin and works well. - tm********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 9, 2025
Why I bought it: I used to use Bioderma Hydrabio Cleansing Water, but due to cost issues, I was looking for an alternative. I remembered seeing this product in a YouTuber's cleansing water review, where they mentioned its gentle ingredients, so I decided to give it a try. What I loved: ✔️ Decent cleansing power ➡️ While it struggles with mascara (as expected), it easily removes makeup like pen eyeliners ➡️ This cleansing water alone does a great job of removing makeup thoroughly ✔️ Gentle ingredients ➡️ According to the YouTuber I mentioned, the ingredients are so mild it could almost pass for a toner ➡️ Some cleansing waters can sting badly if you have cuts or if they get in your eyes, but this one doesn't (though there's a slight tingle if it gets in your eyes, it's not severe and I found it tolerable) ✔️ Great value for money! ➡️ It's cheaper than most cleansing waters, and it's often sold in 1+1 deals, making it an absolute bargain There's not really anything to complain about. If I really had to nitpick, I'd say it's slightly less hydrating compared to the Hydrabio I used before...? Everything else is great! My personal usage tips: 1. Apply the solution to a cotton pad and wipe ➡️ Keep wiping until nothing comes off on the pad (I usually separate a 4-ply cotton pad and use all 4 layers) 2. Rinse with water until it runs clear ➡️ Similar to how you'd rinse after using cleansing oil, wash until the water isn't milky ➡️ I've heard you don't need to rinse after using cleansing water, but I feel more comfortable doing so ✳️ When cleansing water alone doesn't feel enough: On days when I'm wearing full makeup, when there's a lot of pollution, or when I feel like I might break out, I want to cleanse more thoroughly. So, I bought an empty foam bottle from Daiso and filled it with cleansing water for a final cleanse. It gives me that extra clean feeling! - sm*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 8, 2025
While using this product, I found it to be gentle and didn't experience any issues with skin compatibility. I can't really think of any drawbacks for this mild cleansing water. - ka********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 7, 2025
I've been using this for a while now, and it's great value for money. The ingredients are good, and it's gentle on the skin, making it a solid choice for everyday use. There's not really anything to complain about. While the cleansing effectiveness isn't super powerful, I think it's perfectly fine for what it is.
