This product is a godsend for someone like me who's the ultimate queen of laziness! First off, I usually only wear sunscreen, a light cushion, and occasionally concealer as my base makeup. I've always used a low pH cleansing foam to remove my makeup and never felt it lacked cleansing effectiveness. However, no matter how light your makeup is, you still need to wash it off. We all have those moments when we're just too lazy, right? That's when the disaster of falling asleep without removing makeup happens. But this product!!! It gives your face that instant feeling of freedom as soon as you get home, and it removes your makeup spotlessly without even having to wash your face! When my friend came over, she even used it to remove her mascara and eyeliner!
If I had to pick just one downside, it can be a bit drying. And while it doesn't give you that completely refreshed feeling, it still cleanses effectively. You might need a bit of an adjustment period to get used to it!
For removing regular base makeup, I found that one five-layer cotton pad per day is enough. I tear off two layers to remove half of my base makeup each, then use the remaining layer to wipe over my face once more. It works great! For point makeup removal, especially mascara, it's best to hold a soaked cotton pad over the area for a bit before wiping. For mascara specifically, I recommend using a cotton swab dipped in the product, with a cotton pad underneath to catch any drips. It works like a charm!
