Applying it to dry areas will make the dryness disappear! If you apply it in the morning, it won't get dry until the evening! I have an oily face but my body is dry due to atopic dermatitis, and when I applied it to the dry areas that weren't too severely affected by atopic dermatitis, it was effective!
Cons
It's a very oily product, so as an oily-skinned person, I didn't even have the courage to try it on my face... It seems like a good product for dry-skinned people, but the ingredients don't seem that great, so it's better to test it on other parts of your body before using it on your face.
