  Pros

  I had high hopes for this seaweed shampoo because of its gentle ingredients, but unfortunately...

  Cons

  For the first couple of days, it seemed okay, but then my scalp started itching. Large, inflamed blemishes appeared along my hairline and soon covered my entire scalp. I bought it because of the good reviews, but I guess everyone's experience is different. Those with sensitive scalps should be cautious.

  Pros

  Since it's summer, I bought the peppermint shampoo to use along with it. I heard the ingredients were good, and although it was expensive, I decided to splurge. The scent wasn't as bad as I thought it might be, and even without using conditioner, just the shampoo alone made my hair feel manageable and smooth to the touch.

  Cons

  After a few days of use, I started getting blemishes behind my ears and on my neck. This has never happened to me with a shampoo before. We chose the peppermint scent because it's summer and my husband has oily hair, but the irritation was worse than expected. It only feels cool during washing and doesn't last. After using it a few times, my husband said he wanted to go back to using Phytotherapy, so we bought that again. Despite the good reviews for Cheongmijung and its nice ingredients, which made us willing to pay the high price, unfortunately it didn't work for us. We barely used it, so it feels like such a waste of money.

  This is truly the worst. My scalp is flaking like crazy. I thought it might need an adjustment period, so I used it for two months, but in the end, it only damaged my scalp.

  Pros

  The only positive thing I can say is that it's gentler than expected. Initially, I thought it was good because it's natural and free of harmful ingredients, so I decided to use it.

  Cons

  1. It seems the ingredients didn't agree with me. My neck and ears became red and incredibly itchy, and my skin developed a bumpy texture. While the redness subsided over time, my ears would continue to itch after every wash. After discontinuing use, my ears became smooth again, and the redness completely disappeared. Looking at other reviews, I noticed some people had similar experiences... I guess not everything natural is automatically good for you. 2. After using about a third of the product, I developed severe dandruff for the first time in my life - huge flakes! My scalp condition remained similar, but these flakes appeared. Some people mention it's like seaweed powder, and I agree. It was embarrassing when it showed while I was working. This happened despite rinsing thoroughly and drying my hair well. Now, after switching to a different shampoo for just two days, the flakes have significantly decreased.

  Tip

  As long as the seaweed powder residue keeps turning into dandruff-like flakes, I won't be using this product again.

  Pros

  Overall, a decent product! (I have dry, sensitive scalp) Scent: A slightly artificial banana fragrance, hard to describe... Texture: Emulsion-like, lathers well 1. Doesn't dry out the scalp Unlike previous shampoos that left my scalp feeling parched, this one didn't dry it out. (Though it didn't exactly leave it moisturized either!) In my experience, clear gel-like shampoos tend to be more drying. 2. Generally reduced hair loss I switched to this after experiencing clumps of hair falling out. Compared to A24 and Witch's Pouch shampoos, which caused significant shedding, this one was much better. (It didn't stop hair loss completely, but reduced it by about 30%) 3. Decreased dead skin cells Previous shampoos didn't help with flaking and even caused sudden dandruff outbreaks. This one left my scalp feeling cleaner. It didn't exactly remove dead skin cells, but seemed to calm them down. If other shampoos left my scalp 50% clean, this one achieved about 70% cleanliness. A solid choice for my dry scalp!

  Cons

  1. Slight dandruff Like the A24 shampoo, this also caused some minor flaking. Even with thorough rinsing and cool air drying, I'd notice dandruff after about half a day. 2. Occasional oiliness and itching Despite having a dry scalp, sometimes it would get oily quickly and itch a bit. 3. Price The price... it's just too expensive! Honestly, 28,500 won for 500ml doesn't seem worth it for a shampoo.

  Pros

  My hair used to fall out in clumps every time I washed it, but since using this product, it seems to be shedding less. Even without using conditioner, my hair feels softer.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it just doesn't suit my scalp, but it made mine a bit itchy... Also, compared to other shampoos, it seems to make my hair get oily faster.

  Pros

  The gentle ingredients don't feel harsh at all, and there's barely any scent. Usually after using a strong cleansing shampoo, my hair feels a bit dry, but with this one, I don't experience that dryness. Though this might mean its cleansing power is slightly less effective?

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's because the cleansing power is weak or if some ingredient doesn't agree with me, but I've used less than half the bottle and I'm getting blemishes on my scalp. With the black bean shampoo, I had no issues at all... Seems this one just doesn't work for me.

  Despite being a natural shampoo, it lathers well and leaves hair feeling soft. It doesn't make hair feel stiff when rinsing.

  Cons

  Itchiness... While it's good for hair texture and feel, the itching is unbearable. Even with thorough rinsing, it's so itchy that I had to give up after just a week.
