I used this as a final skin wash after cleansing. Adding a few drops to 500ml of water for the final rinse leaves my skin feeling moisturized and soft. The Hwahae Testers would approve of its hydration power! Even if I wait a while before applying essence or moisturizer to let it absorb, my skin doesn't feel tight and maintains good hydration. It works hard to keep the skin's oil and moisture balance in check. Perhaps due to its high hydration, it leaves a slightly sticky feeling for a toner. Since I use it as a skin wash, I apply it with my hands, which makes me want to wash them again afterwards. The scent is just okay, and it might be a bit irritating for super sensitive skin. It's better suited as a skin wash or for use with cotton pads as a mask, rather than as a basic care toner. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2018
After using various cosmetics that damaged my skin, I bought this product with the mindset of being grateful for anything that doesn't cause further harm. To my surprise, it doesn't cause any deep dryness and adheres well to the skin, making it feel firm. I think it would be great for those with combination dehydrated skin or those who experience very dry skin in winter. I'm planning to stick with this product as my go-to toner. I didn't notice when using it as a regular toner, but when I used it as a toner wash, it ran out quite quickly. I wish there was a larger size available. Also, it felt slightly sticky. I used it as a toner wash during cleansing, and I liked that it didn't cause any deep dryness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 21, 2017
The Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash-Off helped with exfoliation, but it felt a bit grainy, making my skin more sensitive. After cleansing with a soap and managing the dead skin, my face felt very dry, as if all the oils were stripped away. It also made my skin quite sensitive. However, when I diluted this product with water and used it after cleansing, the sensitivity decreased and I didn't feel any dryness at all. I just patted it on my face like a toner after washing, and I didn't even need to use a separate toner, as my skin didn't feel dry. Hmm, at first I used it like a regular skin serum before my skincare routine, but it didn't really work for me. It's kind of like a skin product, but a bit sticky, if that makes sense. The absorption wasn't great either. Using it diluted with water is really amazing☆ - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 19, 2017
Moisturizing. I've been using the toner called Calendula and I trust it, so I'm continuing to use it. After using this, my face keeps getting flushed, so I wonder what the problem is. Haha, when I use this, my cheeks get red. It's a bit sticky and I bought the runny type, but it seems a bit concentrated. I wouldn't recommend it for sensitive skin. I have one toner left, but I don't think I'll use the new one. It's nice to apply it generously on cotton pads and use it as a pack.
