It's moisturizing, and when applied after lip tint, it prevents dryness and keeps lips hydrated, which I loved. If you apply it before bed, your lips feel great for applying lipstick in the morning. The subtle pink tint is perfect for students as it's barely noticeable! I bought it on sale for 3000 won, but I think it's worth the full price too. (I liked it so much I bought it again at full price!)
ConsWhile I didn't have major issues, it dries quickly, making it difficult to apply generously. You end up reapplying frequently, which can be a hassle. The lack of staying power seems to be its main drawback. For those considering buying, I'd recommend getting it at half price during a sale!
TipApply a generous amount before bed, and make sure to wipe it off well when you wake up! Then, when you apply lip products, it prevents dead skin cells from being noticeable. It's great for hydration when your lips feel dry!

I received shade 2, and coincidentally got shade 1 as a gratis from Tony Moly. I kept shade 2 for myself and gave shade 1 to my boyfriend with dry lips. I don't usually use lip balms from local drugstores, but comparing this stick-type balm to the last one I used (Nivea Sensitive with a herbal scent in green), this one feels more elastic and substantial when applied. It melts like butter when your lips are warm, gliding on smoothly. However, it's not too soft - the stick has a good firmness, so I wasn't worried about it melting in the heat. It creates a subtle pink tint, which might be nice for students who prefer a light lip color. Applying a generous amount gives you that satisfying 'properly moisturized' feeling, which was great before bed! It's not overly sticky and doesn't cling to hair, making it perfect for nighttime use.
Cons- Despite its oily feel, it's quite drying and doesn't fully function as a lip balm. While it feels satisfyingly oily and slightly tacky when applied thickly before bed, by morning, all that moisture seems to have vanished. It's not that your lips feel parched, but for a lip balm, it dries out unusually quickly. For my boyfriend, who tends to get thick, turtle shell-like dead skin cells on his lips, this balm had minimal effect. We ended up using it more like a lip gloss for shine. It's better than using nothing at all, but if you have very dry lips or issues with flaking, you'd be better off with a specialized lip cream like Bepanthol. - As someone who uses colored lip products, this balm is a bit tricky for daily use. The pink tint is very subtle, making it insufficient on its own, but using it over colored lip products risks transfer and creates an odd sheen. I'm also hesitant to use it as a base due to its oily texture and substantial feel. - While I've gotten used to it after a couple of months, the scent is reminiscent of rose-scented paper soap. As someone who's not particularly fond of artificial rose scents, I found the strong fragrance a bit overwhelming.
TipFinding it a bit awkward for typical lip balm uses, I've been working towards finishing the product using these two slightly inconvenient methods: 1) Applying a thick layer before bed, then topping it with a thin layer of lip oil or Vaseline. 2) Applying a thick layer before other lip products, then wiping it off with a tissue.

The simple design is also a plus.
ConsAfter application, my lips felt dry again pretty quickly. While out and about, I noticed it dries fast, so I had to reapply frequently.

ConsIt's really not great for preventing dry lips!!! It doesn't absorb well into the lips and instead creates more flakiness, which I struggled with for a while. To put it in perspective, it's like applying hardened beef fat. Lastly, I bought it during a sale, so it felt inexpensive, but outside of the event, it costs around 6,000 won per item, which is quite pricey considering the performance.
TipThis lip balm is great for applying at school instead of tint, and when the tint color fades over time, I can lightly reapply this to touch it up!

It's almost unnoticeable, so some may dislike it, but I actually preferred the almost colorless version. The cherry blossom scent is also very nice, and the angled top of the lip balm makes it easy to apply. The price is also affordable - I bought it during a 1+1 promotion, so I got it for 3,000 won instead of the original 6,000 won.
ConsAside from what I mentioned earlier, I have to say that this lip balm is really terrible. Since I've only used Nivea and Etude House lip balms before, this one feels like absolute garbage to me. For dry-skinned people, this is definitely not recommended for winter use. I bought this for winter, but it's been a complete disaster... It feels like I'm just slathering on pig fat. When others said it made their lips look greasy, like they had just eaten fried food, I thought maybe all lip balms were like that, but that's not the case here. It dries out and gets cakey in less than 5 minutes, with no moisture but only greasiness. Even the friends I bought it with say it makes their lips look cakey. I can't trust Laneige anymore, and I'll stick to Etude House products unless it's a color cosmetic. I don't know about oily skin types, but for dry skin, this is a real disappointment. Even at 3,000 won, it's a waste of money.
