The best part was that there was no darkening! Even though my face tends to be on the darker side, when I applied it in the morning and checked the mirror after work, my complexion looked brighter, if that makes sense. I also like how lightweight it feels. While my skin texture is okay, I'm prone to blemishes and have oily skin, so I've been looking for base products with good ingredients. This one seems great in that regard. The coverage is good too. Although it doesn't completely cover darker acne scars (you'll need a separate concealer for those), it should hide most light blemishes. I'm definitely considering buying it again!
It does transfer a bit. When I touch the sides of my nose with my finger, it leaves a white residue. Also, probably due to my unavoidably oily skin, it does get a bit greasy. It's not as bad as BB creams though! Maybe it's just my skin, but anyway... Those with dry skin might find it a bit tight, so make sure to have a solid skincare routine as a base.
