  Pros

  I've been using this as my first cleanser for what feels like 10 years now. My skin is sensitive and combination dehydrated... so I'm very careful when choosing products, and when I find one that works, I stick with it gratefully. This product is gentle on my skin and effective, so I'll likely continue using it for the foreseeable future.

  Cons

  I'm not confident using it as my only cleanser, so I follow up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse.

  Tip

  I massage it onto my made-up face, then either rinse with water or wipe off with a sponge. I love how gentle and comfortable it feels on my skin.

  Pros

  As someone with extremely dry skin and atopic dermatitis, this is my holy grail. The formula seems so gentle that it barely lathers, but after using it, my skin doesn't feel squeaky clean. Instead, it feels like I've applied a nourishing emulsion.

  Cons

  The cleansing effectiveness seems quite low. That's why I remove my makeup with a cleansing balm, use a low pH foam cleanser, and then finish with this product.

  Tip

  Make sure to remove your makeup before using this product.

  Pros

  I started with the famous Special Cleansing Gel, but when I noticed my skin changing day by day, I began using both products together. Comparing the two, the Ultra Calming is definitely gentler. However, the Special Cleansing Gel has a better lather and cleansing feel.

  Cons

  For oily skin or days when your skin feels extra greasy, this would be great for double cleansing. But using this product alone feels a bit lacking. I think it's a good product for those with super sensitive skin.

  Pros

  First off, it feels incredibly gentle. I bought it based on the ratings, and it seems to suit my sensitive skin really well. I definitely plan to repurchase.

  Cons

  The packaging is a bit disappointing. I don't think I'll be able to squeeze out every last drop. Also, while it's fine for me since I don't wear heavy makeup, it feels a bit weak for deep cleansing.

  This is truly a holy grail for super sensitive skin!! My skin has improved so much just from using this one cleanser

  Cons

  The price is quite steep for a cleanser... Unfortunately, due to its weak cleansing effectiveness, I don't find myself reaching for it often.
