The water-based formula has good spreadability and absorption, so it can't be bad. My skin, which used to be flaky and rough, felt noticeably different after just one day of generous application.

Pros
I've been using it every time, and it's hard to say exactly which one is the best, but the essence doesn't feel sticky at all and absorbs into the skin nicely and moisturizes it well. When I use this, I don't get any milia and that's why I keep using it.
Cons
The biggest downside is that it's quite expensive. That's why I usually buy the 230ml version that's sold cheaper online.
