I always had blemishes on my cheeks, but lately my U-zone has become super sensitive with lots of breakouts. My sensitive skin reacts quickly to products that don't suit me, causing blemishes to pop up. I'm particularly sensitive to high concentrations of stearic acid, natural oils, and shea butter. Given my sensitive skin, I'm grateful when a product doesn't cause irritation upon application.

I've always avoided matte cushions and foundations due to my previously dehydrated skin. Matte products would make my skin look patchy, and using less moisturizer to prevent this left my face too dry. I received this cushion as a gift and was pleasantly surprised. Despite its powdery finish, it wasn't as drying as I expected!

As someone who struggles with product application, I appreciate the metal plate that dispenses the cushion formula evenly, making it easier to control the amount.

Initially, I was hesitant to use it due to its reddish tone (I avoid pink bases due to my redness). However, once applied, it evens my skin tone beautifully and effectively covers pores.

Due to its powdery finish, it can be a bit drying in winter. You'll need to make sure your skincare routine is solid before applying.

I can go half a day without touch-ups and not worry about my makeup. Since using this, I don't think I can go back to other cushions!
