It was so bad I ended up visiting not just a dermatologist, but a university hospital! After things calmed down, I decided to only use products that are good for my skin. I initially tried Sidmool's Mega Peptide BB cream, but it was too yellow, dark, and oily for summer use. Despite its great ingredients, it caused breakouts. After researching alternatives, I chose between NACIFIC and IOPE BB creams, ultimately buying IOPE's. I got it on sale for around 20,000 won. The container seemed small, but it contains the standard 30ml. The BB cream's performance is above average! It applies much better than Sidmool's, spreading evenly with less product. It comes in two shades, but the best part is it's less oily! That's what I love most about it. It's great for summer use (I have oily skin). If I apply makeup at 7 AM and touch up around 1-2 PM, it lasts until 8 PM. Honestly, for a natural BB cream, this is excellent!
ConsI have extremely fair skin - even shade 21 is too dark for me (I need at least shade 13). However, IOPE's shade 21 works well for me. This might mean it's a bit light for those who usually use shade 21. Keep in mind that its staying power isn't as good as Estée Lauder or similar foundations. It's also not as matte as you might expect - hair can stick to it a bit. The coverage is... not great. It just makes your skin look better? It's better than CC cream but not as good as regular BB cream - somewhere in between.
TipI found that using it with Sidmool's physical sunscreen improves its longevity and reduces oil production (this sunscreen is matte). It's better to apply with a sponge or fingers rather than a brush. If you apply it thickly for better coverage, it can look white and break down in those areas. It's better to use concealer first and then apply this evenly over it (though I've stopped using concealer as it's said to be bad for the skin). Make sure to buy it when it's on sale - it's almost half price, which is a great deal!
