It covers pores to some extent and helps control oil, which is nice.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't completely conceal pores, and it doesn't do anything for sebum control!
TipApply it by gently patting small amounts onto your skin. It's good for light, casual use.

Definitely less shiny in the evening after morning makeup application. Good spreadability and the scent is so-so.
ConsDoesn't provide enough coverage!!!!!!!!!!! It's just a cream that helps reduce oil, but it doesn't provide coverage!!!!!!!! Pores are still visible!!!!!!!!
TipCould this be used only by oily-skinned individuals who can't use heavy primers in the summer? If you want just the refreshing feel and give up on coverage.

As I'm relatively new to color cosmetics, this is the first primer I've tried. My understanding of the functions of a primer are: 1) providing a base for makeup to adhere well, 2) controlling oil in some cases, and 3) minimizing the appearance of pores and skin texture. While this product excels at the first two functions, the third function is almost non-existent, and the overall performance is just so-so. The product applies very moisturizing and dries down to a smooth, slightly powdery finish, helping to create an even base. While it can be applied generously, it doesn't become cakey and can be spread thinly. Unlike the Face Blur from Etude House, this primer doesn't have any additional tone-correcting properties. Some have mentioned that the product separates if not shaken, but I've kept it in my makeup bag and on my vanity, and I haven't experienced any separation issues. It seems the formula may have been changed. The 30ml size lasts a long time, as I've been using it sparingly, and there's still a significant amount left after 8 months of use.
ConsThe most critical function of minimizing the appearance of pores and skin texture is almost impossible to expect from this product. While it does help create a smooth canvas for applying cushion foundation, I didn't feel that it significantly improved the overall skin texture. Even when applied on my boyfriend's face, which has more prominent pores, I didn't notice any noticeable pore-filling effect. Proper application amount is essential. The formula is not as thin as the Face Blur, but it contains a lot of silicone-based ingredients, making it a "spreadable" type of primer. Applying too much can cause the product to slide around on the face. It does impart a slightly powdery, soft-focus finish, but the oil-controlling function is not particularly strong either. Given the inherently more moisturizing formula, if you're looking for something like the No Sebum Primer to mattify the skin, you'll need to apply a separate powder.
TipAs described on the product packaging, it's essential to use only a small amount, about the size of a pea, and spread it thinly. Applying too much can cause the makeup to slide around. Overall, I think this primer would be suitable for those with normal to combination skin who are looking for a moisturizing formula, without significant issues like blemishes or uneven texture. It's a fairly average product, but still better than going without a primer. If you have the opportunity to try a better option, that would likely be a more worthwhile investment. Given the relatively high regular price, it's best to purchase this during a sale or deal.
