As someone who's been using Nivea lip balms for at least 10-15 years, I can say I'm a fan. Here's what I love about this one: 1. Packaging ★★★★★ It's slimmer than other Nivea lip balms, making it easier to apply. It looks clean and pretty too. 2. Hydration ★★★★ Just one application leaves my lips comfortably moisturized without feeling greasy. 3. Color ★★★★★ I bought this to touch up my lipstick or lip tint a few hours after application, and it's perfect for that. One swipe gives a natural tint that blends beautifully with any remaining lip color. It's a subtle, natural red shade.
4. Amount ★★★ The quantity is noticeably less compared to other Nivea lip balms. 5. Ingredients ★ There are 6 ingredients of concern, but I want to highlight one in particular - avobenzone. While it's likely included for UV protection, I wish they had used an alternative. 6. After application ★ I feel a slight warming sensation and my lips seem to plump up a bit. This could be due to my sensitive skin or an ingredient that doesn't agree with me. There's no rash or itching, though. I think I prefer Nivea's colorless lip balms after all.
In the hand swatch, the left side shows five swipes, while the right side is just one swipe. Due to the ingredients, I only apply it once. Still, it functions well as a tinted lip balm.
