I used oils for oil and moisture balance, but ended up with an oily surface, deep dryness, and blemishes. I thought, 'This really doesn't work for me,' and swore off oils. But I decided to try jojoba oil because it's said to be similar to sebum. The texture seemed heavy in the dropper, like grapeseed oil, and I worried I'd made a mistake. But when I rubbed it between my hands, it felt incredibly light and adhered perfectly to my face. You really have to try it to understand. I use it after toner, about three drops warmed in my hands then applied to my face. It absorbs beautifully, leaving no oiliness, just a nice glow and a feeling of deep hydration. I follow with a light cream, and even hours later, I feel less deep dryness. I'm very satisfied!
ConsPrice/Volume: The price and volume are truly wicked... It's far too expensive for such a small amount. Whiteheads/Amount Control: I was worried about whiteheads before buying, as others had mentioned. Sure enough, using 4-5 drops as recommended, I soon developed whiteheads where I'd never had them before. I reduced it to 2-3 drops, which worked much better with no breakouts. Scent: The fragrance might be divisive - it's almost industrial. It was tough for the first week, but I'm used to it now. Compatibility: While it was fine on its own, when I applied my next skincare step after the jojoba oil, I experienced some pilling. You need to be careful about which products you pair it with.
TipThe amount needed varies depending on individual skin conditions. For extreme combination dehydrated skin like mine, 2-3 drops seem to work best.

But since using this product, I haven't felt that at all. Also, I used to get blemishes on my face once a month, but whenever that happened, applying a drop of jojoba oil to the affected area would significantly calm it down by the next day. It's like having the effect of an acne patch. I'm on my second bottle now, and it's definitely great for combating deep dryness and soothing the skin.
ConsAfter using this product for a while, I developed hives all over my body. It started with my ears becoming bumpy, then spread to my hands, arms, calves, and thighs. Even my eyes showed allergic symptoms. I stopped using it when I realized the jojoba oil was causing the hives. At the time, I had changed several cosmetics simultaneously, and since jojoba oil doesn't contain any harmful ingredients, I never thought it could be the cause. For almost three months, I would wake up in the middle of the night, scratching like crazy. It was so distressing. After the hives, my skin texture changed, becoming rough all over. My skin also became more prone to goosebumps. After about three to four months, I slowly started applying it to my body again. It seems I may have built up a tolerance as it was fine. I'm posting this feedback because there are so many positive reviews for this product. It wasn't just me - my friend also had a hives reaction. For her, it started on the back of her hands. After that, I became hesitant to recommend it to others.
TipI recommend testing it consistently on your wrist for at least a week before using it regularly. My skin isn't particularly sensitive, and I've been fine with other oil products including bio-oil in the past. The fact that both my friend and I had hives reactions suggests that others could potentially have the same issue. It definitely works for deep dryness and soothing the skin. However, because it gave me hives, I'm a bit cautious about this product.
