The coverage is remarkably good, and I love how it looks just like natural skin. It adheres well, so a little goes a long way compared to other foundations. There's no transfer, and you don't even need a separate makeup base. This one product alone provides excellent coverage and lasting power, which I really appreciate. The packaging is fantastic too - it's easy to control the amount and fits perfectly in my makeup pouch, making it super convenient. As for the shade, it's fine to choose one slightly lighter than your natural complexion. It doesn't make your face look disconnected from your body, just gives you a subtle brightening effect. Makeup For Ever is amazing! While I liked almost everything about it, there was one small drawback. I'm not sure if it's because I used it in winter, but if you don't have a solid skincare routine, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells rather than looking patchy. Though I suppose this might be true for all foundations? To address that minor issue, I mixed in a tiny bit of moisturizer when applying it.
