I expected it to be somewhat matte, but the flakiness and dryness that got stuck in the creases made my lips feel like they were about to tear. It even bled into the lines around my lips.   The application feels amazing. It applies smoothly and the color payoff is truly excellent.

  I applied it daily for a week, and at first I thought it was causing some kind of irritation on my lips. But even after getting enough sleep, the irritation continued and got worse. When I checked the ingredients on the Hwahae app, it clearly stated that it was the cause of the lip irritation. I would recommend testing it a few times before using it if you plan to.

  Among the Wakemake lip lines, this is my favorite type. First of all, it has a very mousse-like application, so there is little emphasis on flakiness and it is smooth and non-irritating! It was also easy and good to do gradation with.

  Cons

  I didn't have any herpes-like symptoms on my lips, but after using this product, herpes-like symptoms appeared on my lips and it was very stinging.. When I went to the hospital, they said it was herpetic stomatitis, and once you get it, it will keep appearing whenever you're tired. The hospital said it was likely due to the lipstick, and when I switched to a different product, it got better. But the color and application are so good that I can't give it up and still use it occasionally.

  I never had any rashes or irritation when applying lip products, but one day I suddenly had a rash and thought it might be a lip infection. But on the days I used that product, my lips would swell up and feel hot and puffy. So I thought it must be because of that product.
