Review after using up the entire bottle I was originally planning to buy the Glass Skin Emulsion, but since I love hydrating gels, I suddenly switched to this one! Honestly, at first, I wasn't impressed due to the pilling... But after about two weeks of use, my skin seemed to adapt, and fortunately, it stopped pilling. You need to control the amount well and let it absorb properly to avoid pilling! I love that the texture is lightweight and has a cooling effect. It applies smoothly and doesn't cause any irritation. It doesn't cause tiny bumps or make my face feel hot. I think it has a slight skin-soothing effect too. Even when my skin was sensitive, I could apply it without any issues, and I felt like it helped alleviate the symptoms. It might be a bit lacking for spring, fall, and winter, but it seems perfect for easy use in summer. Although it has a thick consistency, it doesn't feel sticky at all. Even my sister with dry skin uses it well!
While the hydration is good, there's zero oil content. It definitely won't be enough on its own for those with dry skin... My skin also becomes drier in winter, so I had to layer a rich cream on top of this. And the pilling... If you absolutely hate pilling, don't buy this. Usually, products with good ingredients tend to pill a bit, but this one pills quite a lot... Luckily, it only happened to me at first, and now it doesn't pill anymore, but when makeup pills, it's really... ugh, so frustrating.
At night, after washing my face, I squeeze out two large drops and apply it by massaging it in with my fingers to help it absorb. When I do this, it doesn't pill even when I apply cream on top :) However, I avoid using it right before applying makeup, just in case... you never know!
