This product has been repackaged after a renewal, but since the updated version isn't listed, I'm reviewing it here. My skin type is super sensitive, dry, oily, and pore-rich. I felt compelled to write this review because this gem helped calm my troubled skin. When my skin became incredibly sensitive, stinging and burning, nothing seemed to work until I tried this. It's incredibly gentle and kind to the skin. Happy Touch may not have fancy features, but it feels genuinely gentle and honest. I've been reaching for it on and off for over a decade. While I always thought it was just mild and gentle, it really came through during my recent skin crisis. One pump is enough to cover the whole face, but I apply it twice with a time gap. The texture is superb - smooth and silky. I love that it's almost fragrance-free. It's the best for soothing angry skin. It's not really a downside, but right after application, it feels a bit sticky. However, it settles to a powdery finish if left alone. The hydration doesn't seem exceptionally strong. It feels very rich when applying, but if you put makeup on top and some time passes, it can feel slightly dry. Without makeup, it doesn't feel dry though. If you apply cream before the rich feeling completely disappears, you get a long-lasting, gentle hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2020
I love it! It feels slippery on my face, but after applying, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated. Like other products, the price is a bit steep. Especially for shampoo, which I use so frequently. Every time I buy it, the cost feels burdensome. - ap****Oily SkinRecommendedMar 18, 2020
The functionality was fantastic! I'd love to use it regularly. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. If anything, it's just a bit on the pricey side... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2019
I've finished one bottle and I'm on my second now. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this essence is perfect for me. After applying, it seems to give a nice firmness and elasticity to my skin. The ingredients also appear to be good, so I plan to keep using it. It looks like the packaging has changed to be similar to their brightening moisturizer. For me, there weren't any particularly bad points. The amount you get for the price is quite generous. If I had to mention one thing, it's that as you pat it in, it develops a slightly sticky texture which some people might not like. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 24, 2018
It's wonderfully moisturizing with a pleasantly smooth texture. The product absorbs well into the skin. Unfortunately, I developed blemishes... So I had to request a return... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinAug 12, 2018
It's wonderfully moisturizing. I'm really satisfied with the high snail mucin content! However, there are too many extracts, which caused some blemishes to appear after just one day. It's such a shame. It would be better if they removed the unnecessary extracts. The peppermint scent is too strong and seems to irritate my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2018
It really improves skin health and seems to help with skin regeneration quite well. It might feel a bit heavy during summer, and the initial application can be slightly sticky. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 27, 2017
Since snail products work well for my skin, I searched for various options and found that Happy Touch was the only one without pore-clogging acids. Although I was hesitant at first due to the unfamiliar brand, after reading reviews and noting the simple ingredient list, I decided to give it a try. I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! I have oily, acne-prone skin and usually do extractions at home once a week. Since using this product, I've noticed fewer infections from improper extractions and faster healing of treated areas. Despite having oily skin, I dislike matte finishes. This product provides a pleasantly bouncy texture that I really enjoy. After using it, I haven't experienced any new acne breakouts or seborrheic dermatitis flare-ups! While it's slightly disappointing that half the ingredients are extracts, I'm still satisfied considering the price point. If you apply an emulsion with snail ingredients after this product, prepare for an extremely greasy and sticky experience. Not recommended. It's a bit disappointing that extracts make up half of the ingredients. For a non-sticky finish, warm the product between your palms and gently press it into your skin. If you find it sticky, try patting it in a bit more. It absorbs completely without any stickiness when you do this. If your skin feels a bit dry, you can layer a small amount of a simple moisturizer on top. For areas needing extra repair, apply an additional spot treatment for faster recovery. 09.25 Update: When my skin was extremely dry due to dermatological treatments, I tried the '7-skin method' with this product on a whim. Surprisingly, it didn't make my skin oily, eliminated the dryness, and left my face feeling smooth the next morning. I highly recommend trying the 7-skin method with this product if you experience dryness but are prone to acne when using oily products. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 16, 2017
I had a lot of blemishes, but after switching to this, my skin seems to be improving. Lately, I've been hearing many compliments about my complexion. It feels sticky and doesn't absorb well. If you apply too much thinking it's good for your skin, it pills and comes off like dead skin cells. Use just a small amount and pat it gently. It absorbs well and doesn't pill. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 11, 2017
I had quite a few scars and marks from extractions at the dermatologist's office. This product contains a high concentration of snail mucin and EGF to help with skin regeneration. I applied it daily and was impressed by how quickly my skin healed. I plan to keep using it in the future! The price is a bit steep... However, the quantity and effectiveness make it worth it.
