Quick review: A moisturizing and sticky snail-mucin-like toner perfect for winter use. Skin type: Dry and sensitive. User experience: I was surprised by its extremely sticky snail-mucin-like texture as soon as I put it on a cotton pad. True to its consistency, it leaves the skin feeling hydrated with excellent moisturizing effects, making it an ideal toner for winter or dry seasons. Ingredients: I expected it to be very gentle since it didn't cause any irritation or blemishes on my face. However, I was surprised to find some questionable ingredients here and there when I actually checked the list. Quantity: The sticky consistency makes you use quite a bit each time, so I felt like I'd go through the product rather quickly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 31, 2021
As someone with oily skin, I found this product to have decent hydration without leaving any greasy residue. It's probably the best match for me among all the products I've used so far. While it didn't seem to specifically target blemishes, I didn't notice any particular drawbacks either. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2021
It's great that it feels moisturizing and doesn't tighten the skin even when applied alone after cleansing. I do layer on more moisturizer, though. This is my third purchase, and I'll likely keep using it in the future! I wish they would add a larger size option to their product line. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 14, 2021
After application, it guarantees intense hydration. The texture has a nice viscosity that makes your skin feel plump and bouncy. It also absorbs well into the skin. The price is quite steep. I'm seriously considering looking for a more affordable alternative. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 28, 2020
I love how it deeply hydrates my skin. After just one application, my face feels wonderfully moisturized. It has a distinctive scent that might be hit or miss depending on personal preference. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 26, 2020
You can definitely feel the intense hydration from this ultra-moisturizing toner. It's quite thick, so a little goes a long way. The strong fragrance makes it unsuitable for those who prefer unscented products. To be honest, the scent isn't particularly pleasant, which is disappointing. It's especially not recommended for parents with young children. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJul 9, 2020
For a toner, it's quite rich and hydrating, so I skipped the emulsion and just used this. With my combination-dry skin, it worked wonderfully in winter when paired with Avène's cleansing gel. However, when I continued using the same combination in summer, it clogged my pores with sebum and my skin broke out. Definitely avoid using it during the hot months. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 8, 2020
I'm on my second bottle of this product. I've attached a photo - I really used it up to the last drop! It's amazing! It truly acts as a booster to combat deep dryness. Using this alone can leave your skin dry, so pair it with a serum for optimal hydration. When my face was covered in blemishes, this recommended product helped calm them down significantly. I highly recommend this for those dealing with hormonal skin issues. Just remember to always use it with a serum! It feels sticky. And using it alone doesn't really address dryness. It gives a sensation of an oily film on the skin. The texture isn't runny, but rather thick. If you prefer lightweight products, I wouldn't recommend this one. The combination of Vichy's high-moisture boosting toner and La Roche-Posay's hyaluronic acid serum can really help troubled skin. I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes and textural issues. I have small bumps on my forehead, acne scars on my chin, and occasional breakouts on my cheeks. This combo definitely shows results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2020
As someone with extremely dry and sensitive skin, I've been using this for three bottles since winter, as I needed hydration. It's definitely more moisturizing than other toners, leaving no feeling of tightness, and it doesn't cause any blemishes. The scent isn't strong, giving it a gentle feel. I used to have issues with foundation looking patchy due to my dry skin, but since switching to this, that problem has disappeared. I'm very satisfied. When applying with a cotton pad, the product tends to sit on top rather than absorb, sometimes causing spills. The bottle opening isn't a pump, making it difficult to control the amount, which leads to using it up quickly. While the fragrance isn't strong, it's a downside that it contains fragrance at all. Try soaking 5-6 cotton pads in a bowl with plenty of toner, then store them in the refrigerator. Take one out at a time and place it on areas that feel particularly tight, like cheeks or eyes. This will help soothe the skin and reduce puffiness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2020
It absorbs quickly and provides high moisture as claimed, resulting in less skin tightness. After application, there's a burning sensation and tingling irritation on the face. Although it didn't cause visible redness, the uncomfortable feeling made me decide to discontinue use.
