After cleansing my skin, I apply this as the first step. It applies lightly and feels comfortable, leaving my skin feeling moisturized.

This product is problematic. Even after using it for several months, my skin would suddenly become irritated, and then applying this would make the situation much worse. It applies smoothly and lightly before makeup, absorbing well without any stickiness. I really liked how it sinks in.

Pros
I've been changing my cosmetic line while using the Real Barrier Cream. The serum is light and moisturizing, and the fact that it has almost no harmful ingredients is a big plus.

The absorption is incredibly fast, and the ingredients are quite good.
Cons
It absorbed at a crazy speed as soon as I applied it, and there was no moisturization at all. My skin started to sting like crazy right after applying the serum, so I had to wipe it all off. Luckily, my skin didn't get red or develop any pimples, but it was so stinging that I was shocked. I strongly recommend testing the sample before purchasing.

This seems like it would be suitable for oily skin. It's non-greasy and has decent spreadability. However...

My skin is dry, very dry, and sensitive, except for the T-zone. I bought this along with the Atopalm Real Barrier Moisture Cream, but I felt the skin was too dry, so I wondered if it was the fault of the moisture cream. I tried switching the moisture cream, but the extreme dryness was still there, making it hard to even open my eyes. On a hunch, I removed this serum and just used the moisture cream, and that seemed to work better. The ingredients weren't that bad, but when I use this, the moisture cream doesn't seem to absorb into the skin, so the makeup on the outside gets cakey and the inside feels uncomfortably dry.
Tip
People with very dry skin would really be in trouble with this.

I was really surprised when I received the Atopalm essence sample and applied it. About 2 hours later, my face started itching so much that I couldn't stop scratching. Suddenly, I woke up and looked in the mirror to find my entire face covered in red, bumpy hives. Oh, my skin! When I used the Atopalm Real Barrier Cream, there were no issues, so I naturally assumed the essence would be fine too. But shortly after applying it, my cheeks, around my mouth, and forehead all became rough and itchy, so I had to wash it off again. I'm really puzzled as to which ingredient didn't agree with my skin.

I used this for two days and my skin completely flipped over.. I specifically chose a gentle product because I have sensitive skin... I know that gentle doesn't always mean it will work well, but it's still shocking... I've been using the Realbarrier cream for 3 bottles and it's been working great, so I had high expectations...ㅜㅜㅜ But it ended up flipping my skin so badly that I can't even use it... I'm so angry..

Right after applying, there is a stinging sensation around the eyes that subsides after a few minutes. I'm not sure if that's okay... Since I have dry skin, there is a tightening feeling after applying it right after cleansing. When I don't want to apply anything after my evening cleanse due to the heavy feeling of skincare products, I can just use this one and go to bed, even if there is a slight tightness.
