The scent doesn't linger for too long, but it's not unpleasant like a men's skin care scent. It actually helps mask any scalp odor. I've tried various anti-hair loss shampoos before, but compared to those, I see way fewer hairs in the drain after washing. I'm not sure about the hair growth effect, but at least my hair isn't falling out as much, which is psychologically satisfying.
