Pros
Although I'm using this product in addition to an essence emulsion during the winter season, it's just so-so. I thought it was moisturizing for the first few days, but after a while, I'm not really sure if it's doing much.

It's no joke when it comes to moisturizing during dry times like this! There's a slightly sticky feeling when you first apply it, but after about a minute of rolling it in, the oil just melts away, leaving your skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. This is an essential item for dry seasons like fall and winter!
Cons
It's so greasy! It's more of an oily feeling than a sticky one, probably because it's an oil-based product. The greasiness is off the charts! But I'm enduring it for the sake of my dry skin. And when my skin is already moist(?), the breakouts get really bad if I use this during non-dry seasons (personal experience). If you really dislike the feeling of oil on your face, you might want to pass on this.

Although our mother is quite elderly, she has been a lifelong devotee of po-building power. From fall through winter, she makes sure to apply this product before bed every night. She really enjoys how well her makeup applies after using this product. As for me, I don't have too many trouble spots, but I do have a skin type that is prone to small, frequent breakouts. In the winter when my skin feels dry and rough, I tried this product and was happy to find that it quickly made my skin feel soft and moisturized!
Cons
If I use this product before applying makeup, my makeup breaks down quickly... I used to apply it daily when my skin wasn't feeling dry, but then I started getting more pimples...😭😭😭 I would recommend this to someone with dry skin.

Pros
After applying the skin barrier, I found that the oil serum absorbed well and had a nice, moderate oiliness to it.
Cons
The application was good, but after use, it felt sticky, so I had to wash my face again. Then, I ended up with a major breakout on my face. Since I already have a dry and sensitive skin type, and I'm currently pregnant, it seems to have caused an allergic reaction - my face became very red and itchy. I'll probably need to see a dermatologist. I wouldn't recommend this to pregnant women, even if their skin is very dry.
