It's non-greasy and lightweight. Some people mentioned it applies with a yellow tint, but I didn't experience that at all. I ordered it through international shipping because it's said to be free of allergy-triggering ingredients! 1. The scent... it's like a sour glue smell... an intensity I've never encountered before. It's strong enough to make you wrinkle your nose. 2. It doesn't absorb well. When applied to the face, it leaves a white cast and takes a long time to sink in. 3. It doesn't address deep dryness. Due to its poor absorption, applying a lot becomes overwhelming, but using just a little doesn't combat the deep dryness. 4. It caused small blemishes to appear. 5. It's expensive when you factor in international shipping costs, and I had to wait about 20 days to receive it. It wasn't worth the wait. I bought it because of the good reviews, but I'm not sure if the formula changed recently. Overall, it's disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 15, 2023
I think it was great for teenagers to use. The scent was a bit disappointing. - uh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 16, 2021
Attention acne sufferers, why aren't you using this? Once you know how to use it, it's an amazing product. If you order from the US official website, it costs around $30 and takes 2-3 weeks to arrive. Get the tube with the orange line. It's called 'Acne.org', from acne.org It's incredibly strong. It can make your eyes sting. But here's the trick: mix it with other products or layer it, and those angry blemishes start to improve. (I heard Avène Cica-Paste was good, so I bought it and applied it. But it created round mounds of sebum. Squeezing them out was like squeezing toothpaste. My face turned into a grease party for a while. Anyone who says Avène Cica-Paste works for them is truly remarkable. It seems only those with acne-prone skin that barely produces sebum can use Avène Cica-Paste.) After applying other products, dab this on acne-prone areas. Don't apply too much. Then, after a moment, gently apply a product with silicone ingredients over it. I do this because I don't like sticky textures. Alternatively, mix this product half-and-half with a clear gel-type product containing hyaluronic acid before applying. When you first use Acne.org, your skin might peel. So initially, don't apply it directly - mix it with other products. Eventually, the peeling will stop. Now it doesn't peel when I apply it, but I don't use it daily. I apply it every other day, just a bit on troubled areas. It's quite strong, so I apply other products first, then this on top, followed by a product with silicone ingredients. This prevents eye irritation and skin discomfort. If you do this morning and night, you'll see those blemishes and bumps losing their strength and fading. Let's stay strong, fellow acne fighters. We've got this! - zi********Oily SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 16, 2021
Here's my review of the treatment... (since there's no separate product listing for it) I've had constant blemishes from middle school through my early twenties, especially severe on my forehead, which was always a problem. Despite my irregular sleep schedule affecting my skin balance, after using it for two weeks, I've seen remarkable improvement. While old scars are unavoidable, it feels like it's eradicating acne-causing bacteria, so I'll definitely keep using it. Although it's pricey due to international shipping, the amount you get is enormous compared to how much you need to apply. If you apply it even slightly close to your eyelids, your eyes will tear up like they're about to fall out. The price is quite high due to international shipping. According to the official usage instructions on the Acne.org website: After cleansing, let your skin dry for 10 minutes, then apply the treatment, gently rubbing it in until it dries, wait 10-15 minutes before applying other skincare products. I've used many potentially irritating products like tea tree oil, BHA, benzoyl peroxide, and Differin, so I've built up some tolerance. That's why I can use it daily, but first-time users should be cautious of irritation. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 9, 2020
I discovered this product while searching for solutions during a skin crisis in the US. After using it, my acne improved significantly. I used this along with the orange cream, and the results were great. I highly, highly recommend this for inflammatory acne, not just small bumps. It's seriously effective! 1. It has a slight yellow tint that doesn't completely disappear when applied, leaving a bit of residue. 2. It's quite expensive. 3. Now that I'm in Korea, I have to order it from overseas. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 14, 2020
I really liked how quickly it calmed my skin. The absorbs well, making it easy to apply comfortably. It was quite irritating when applied around the eyes. I'd recommend avoiding the eye area when using this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2020
I'm a student currently using my fourth bottle of this product! It's reliable, not bad at all, and just right for me! I can't really think of any downsides. It's just good to use! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 17, 2019
Excellent value for a large size. I applied it more than 3 times a day and it lasted over 6 months. Often felt dry even after application. It doesn't seem to address deep dryness effectively. - qk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2019
It feels refreshing and seems to have a soothing effect. I had a tough time with skin irritation from using Tret, but this one feels incredibly gentle. Curse that Tret! Please be very careful with the amount you use. If you get greedy, you'll end up in trouble. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2019
This emulsion contains licorice extract, known for its anti-inflammatory properties. I was skeptical about its effectiveness due to the 0.1% concentration, but it actually works quite well. The emulsion itself has a yellow tint, suggesting they've used a highly concentrated extract. Of course, it's not harsh, so don't expect it to completely eliminate blemishes - that's what treatments are for. It's a lightweight emulsion with a good oil and moisture balance. I like to apply an extra layer when my skin feels dry. Be careful when pumping - a large amount can come out at once. Also, the fact that you have to purchase it through international shipping is a bit of a drawback.
